Ahnna Leigh was a terrible server. I’ve been there a hundred times and always had a a great experience . I ordered appetizers, drinks & everything seemed fine… I ordered a medium well steak and but when it came to the table it came rare. When she came to check on me I apologized & I had cut the steak showing her the blood and let her know I couldn’t eat it. She looked at me and said “So it’s not well enough for you?” I responded with no.. there’s blood everywhere. This is a medium rare steak & I ordered medium well. She then proceeded to say “I see that & I agree it’s not well but I didn’t cook the steak.” I apologized again & told her I know she didn’t but again I just can’t eat it like this. She then said “Are you guna give me the plate so I can take it back?” I was super confused, handing her my plate. The manager came to the table bringing me the steak back when it was finished. So I decided to let her know that interaction made me a little uncomfortable & I felt like she was being rude. But the manager stared at me like a deer in headlights, not saying anything really. I’m assuming this isn’t the first time she’s heard that. When Ahnna came back to the table I asked her for to go containers because I was super uncomfortable at this point. I explained it was my birthday & I was just trying to enjoy my birthday dinner. She brings back the containers repeatedly saying have a great birthday & have a better night. I paid and proceeded to leave the restaurant as she’s screaming happy birthday sweetie have a better night across the restaurant to the point where I had to ask her to please stop being like that. She laughed and walked away. I’d highly recommend having her do a training on customer service. If she has or will treat people like this in the future maybe reevaluate her employment. Again this Longhorn has always been very pleasant & a great experience but because of her I will...
Read moreI am leaving a one star review simply for the lack of communication and effort from the management team, mainly the female manager on duty. The food was exceptional, and our waitress did a phenomenal job.
On the app, you are not able to do a join the waitlist for more than four people. We had five in our group which the app prompted a customer to call the restaurant phone number to make arrangements. The number was either not working or disconnected. At this point I reverted back to the app and chose the option for four people in a party so we can join the waitlist. Upon arrival at the restaurant we checked in with the hostess and told her we were part of the wait list, but we had five people in our party and could not get our call to go through to the restaurant phone number listed on the app and the website. It seems like it totally ruined the day of the hostess, and she proceeded to tell my family that it was going to be at least another 15 minutes to be seated. I brought this to the managers attention. She gave me a story of how their phone line did not work, and when I asked her how somebody was supposed to contact them, she said again "well our phone just does not work." Not to mention it seemed as if she was put out for my questioning the issue with the phone. Not to mention she wasn’t very friendly and extremely short. She acted like it was a real inconvenience for her having to explain why their phone number wasn't working when their own website directed customers to use that number to contact them.
As I stated, the food was very good. Steaks were great as well as side, items and the appetizer. The only problem was they forgot the grilled shrimp with my meal. The waitress did a great job of bringing them out later but it's at that point where you're not going to be able...
Read moreI’ve never been so concerned that something would intentionally be wrong with my food... As soon as we walked in, the two hostess at the desk were carrying on a conversation and did not acknowledge us until they finished, which was very rude. They asked how many and we told them two. She immediately offered us seats at the bar or a middle floor table. We preferred a booth and asked how long the wait would be for one, and without checking she said 20 minutes. We were pretty hungry so we decided to go with the floor table even though we were a little uncomfortable with that, but we didn’t want to be a bother. A few moments after she sat us, we watched three booths open, including one right beside us. It wasn’t busy, so when our waitress came to take our drink order I asked if we could move to the booth right next to us for more privacy. The waitress then went to get the hostess and she came back and cleaned off the table for us while being sarcastic and rolling her eyes. She made me feel like I was being a “Karen” but I just really wanted to sit at the booth that she told me would not be available. It all went downhill from there... It was obvious that the hostess and our waitress did not like what we requested and from that point on, the waitress never spoke to us again. Fifteen minutes later a near by waitress asked if anyone had taken our order and we responded with “no, our waitress just left us here.” So she became our waitress for the evening. At first she was kind, but then her mood changed once she and the prior waitress spoke or at least it seemed that way. At this point I was afraid our food would be altered because everyone was being a little hostile with us. I NEVER write reviews, especially bad ones but this ruined...
