I walked in and was greeted by a friendly waitress with a smile. Overall atmosphere was fine, nothing fancy but clean and music was not overly loud which I really appreciate. Chips and salsa were just OK. Chips were fresh, but the salsa tasted like glorified tomato sauce. I believe the salsa is made fresh in the restaurant but it's missing something, some zest, not alot of spice and the first bowl had one small onion chunk and the rest was just a average watery salsa, no bust cilantro flavor and mild in taste. I came at dinner time after the rush about 7:30 and there were several couples / families and not overly busy. I was surprised/a little disappointed that the cheapest entrée was $12.99 for 2 enchiladas and rice and beans, which isn't terrible but definitely not a deal, but maybe with price increases this is normal. I ordered the chicken chimichanga. The menu description said it came with cheese sauce, I was expecting a normal white queso sauce but this seemed like the base was more Velveeta or American cheese based, which was good but not what I was expecting or wanting. The chicken had a reasonable flavor to it and bigger chunks not fine Shredded chicken. The chimichanga plate also came with a side of rice and beans, Pico, sour cream, and guac, all of which seemed fresh and quality seemed ok. I feel like portion sizes were also exceptable. I understand this is not going to be authentic Mexican as the Restraunt clearly says "tex-mex," but I did wish for a little more flavor. Everything was good but on the bland side. I don't feel like I wasted my money, but this truly is just an average Mexican Restraunt, nothing to write home about.

TL;DR: Refreshingly chill Mexican restaurant with some typical menu items and some slightly more adventurous ones. When we first came in, I wasn't entirely sure we got the right door. Proceeding straight through the next door led us into a typical eatery serenaded in Spanish tunes. I had the Pollo Loco (not the dish I typically see under that name). This is the typical Chicken Cheese and Rice dish served with tortillas (hottest tortillas I've ever held). There are almost no vegetables in this dish except for a couple of peppers in the cheese. My daughter had the Chicken Quesadilla (fajitas chicken). She was kind enough to share ( in exchange for some of my Pollo Loco). It tasted wonderful with an abundance of cheese. Worth noting, the fajita chicken was cooked differently than I normally see. It was closer to sliced of chicken breast than thinly cut strips. Service was on point. My drink barely fell below half empty and our check was quickly brought to us when we finished. The only downside was the odd shape of the dining room leaving some tables at an unusual angle.

We stop in here on our annual Branson Thanksgiving trip. We've never ordered any food beyond chips, salsa, queso dip, and some other appetizers. For us the trip is all about the margaritas! They have several different flavors including coconut, raspberry, and blueberry besides the traditional margarita flavor. They all taste pretty similar to one another, but you can get them on the rocks, or frozen and the large is pretty hefty. They're not too expensive, and they give you a pretty good buzz so I feel like you're getting a good value for the money. We've never had a wait, and we are there during the Thanksgiving holiday when Branson is pretty crowded. I can't really speak for the food but their margaritas and service are pretty doggone good!

I normally do not write bad reviews but tonight experience needs to be addressed. 1 July 2021 , The three of us dined there tonight around 6:30. We ordered Nachos, enchiladas, and pollo loco. Here is how it went. 1-We were seated and the chips and salsa came out as usual. 2-Ten minutes later, our waitress finally arrived to ask about our drinks, well we ordered ice tea, Diet Pepsi and a regular Pepsi and some hot salsa, however before she could leave we informed her that we knew what we wanted, this is when the attitude came out. She took the order but was condescending about not speaking quicker, illustrated by her rolling her wrist and eyes to speed up my mother-in-law. 3-When our drinks arrived, she did not have the order correct or the salsa and before we could say anything she walked off. 4-I asked another waitress to get the correct drink and salsa. About 30 seconds later our waitress showed up and asked in a very direct tone is there anything else you “want”. I was about to inform her that another waitress was getting our drink and salsa and she said ok and walked off. It was like the Twilight Zone, we stated asking ourselves did we do something to “piss this lady off. 5- When the food arrived she practically tossed the plate to my wife, and did place the plate down in front of me fine, but then kind of dropped the plate in front of my mother-in-law, asked if we needed anything else, well by this time we wanted to just eat and get out of there. 6- Well my wife food was cold, she ordered enchiladas and the cheese was not melted inside and the fact she could stick her finger into the middle without getting burned should be a indication that it was not done, We informed another waitress about it and she tried to get my wife another dinner but we were done, we wanted out of there. My polo loco was good, but she did not bring the flour tortilla that come with the meal and the Nachos meat was cold. They did remove the the enchiladas from our bill, but the attitude of our waitress was beyond rude, I would have just walked out within the first 10 minutes but my 75 year old mother-in-law like eat here. The waitress we did not see again but she was wearing a very glitzy shinny silver belt. I left a tip of 10% because I don’t think she will be working there much longer if the attitude does not change. I not sure if she was having a bad day, but you need to leave that attitude at home,. Hope she gets her...

Giving one star mainly because of service. The food was decent, cheese sauce was a bit watery but overall decent. Our server never greated us nor did she smile. When we were placing our order we were asking about the possibility of substitutions on two of our meals to which she sighed but ended up saying yes to. She never checked back on us until the food was ready. When she brought out plates she slide them across the table roughly to each of us or made us grab the very hot plates she was sure to use a towel to hold. Once plates were sat down she finally decided to refill our drinks and walked away without giving us any silverware or asking if we need anything else. We sat there trying to grab someone's attention while our food was getting colder. We finally recieve silverware and ate. When we are close to finishing she takes our plates with food on them before we can ask for to go boxes. She then gives us the check and since we were a party of 7 there is a gratuity charge to which we feel she didn't deserve that much.

We ask a table busser if we can speak to a manager who then says THERE IS NO MANAGER. She mentions her aunt is in charge and we ask for her to which the girl says "okay" then ROLLS HER EYES. The aunt comes over and we mention the gratuity to which she responded "Most places charge 18% and we only do 15%" every issue we address she finds an excuse for. Our server is listening in and comes over talking about how great she did with us and we ask politely if it was something we did because she was great to the table next to us with kids and SHE IGNORES US AND TURNS HER BACK. We bring that up to confirm that she does indeed have an attitude and the lady in charge says "If you were speaking bad about me, I'd turn my back too" HOW RUDE. We repeatedly state that we wanted to bring this to their attention and only wanted to put our own tip because of the horrible service and they only continued to argue with us! NEVER EVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN. AVOID AT ALL COST. The level of disrespect is...

Just a great little place to have breakfast and mingle with the cool local dudes who gather before sunrise every morning. One of them made fun of my fat gut, but I didn't take offense at all, because I knew it was all in good, clean fun. I live hundreds of miles away in Cincinnati, but my best friend is a local and takes me there every time I visit him. If what you really want doesn't appear on the menu just tell the cute girl behind the counter what you want and she'll do her best to make what you want with what's on hand. The coffee is self-serve. When I poured myself a cup I was looking around for some creamer. I don't use powered "creamer" or artificial liquid creamer so I asked her if she had any kind of dairy product for the coffee, and she poured a glass half full of milk for my coffee and told me to let her know if I needed more. I had heard bragging about the place's biscuits and gravy, but upon arrival I noticed she was bringing this southern dish to one of the guys at the next table and didn't notice any sausage in it, so I said, "Doesn't your gravy have any sausage in it?" She said no, but I can put some in yours if you want." So she fried some and crumbled it in my gravy. That made it so much better not just because it had sausage in it, but because I knew she had gone the 2nd mile for me. I'm a Google Local Guide writing reviews of restaurants, hotels, and other businesses, and something I often mention about service is the importance of friendliness and cheerfulness. I feel better about leaving a big tip for a waitress who was friendly even if she made a mistake than one who is dour and unsmiling even if she gets everything exactly right. And the service here is very friendly and cheerful. Cheerfulness can be contagious. I don't think she was going to charge me for the milk or sausage crumbles, but I'll never know, because another local (not the one who mentioned my gut) paid for friend's and my meals...
