From the moment of pulling into the parking lot I should have know it wasn’t going to be a good visit. A shirtless man who’s life choices of methamphetamines for breakfast and his female companion entered the establishment with his own large cup from somewhere else, walked across the lobby counter area to the soda machine and promptly filled his cup with ice and soda drank it down and refilled it again. He wasn’t in a hurry by any means, loitered around a bit by the soda fountain and then left with his companion. When the staff did nothing, said nothing to the man I should have taken it as a don’t waste any time here or you’ll be paying for it later with GI issues. There was several 5 or more groups of people ranging from 2 to 6 in their group with order tickets in their hands staring at the front counter in hopes that they might get their food sometime this evening. We were 3rd in line and had our choices picked out in the 10+ minutes we waited for the other folks to be helped and for food to be distributed to the food delivery people (I assume Uber eats and the other big ones). They did call out a few numbers and people promptly retrieved their food and then promptly returned to the counter to have it corrected. We are next to order. We stood there waiting to be helped we are about 15 minutes in by now. There is a line of 6-7 more groups/couples coming in and they don’t look happy. The guy running the register seemed to be more focused on trying to assemble the orders correctly than taking an order or acknowledging that they had gotten behind and were desperately trying to get caught up. 10 minutes since it’s been our time to order. I mention to the fella behind me that the wait is ridiculous for fast food he more than agreed. The staff looked as though someone had given them a fresh boost of Thorazine and they were in it to win it in that snail race. The whole crew moved along at a sloth like pace being more attentive to their cellular devices versus getting through a rush. Another kicker during this time a crew member or manager was in the dining area with his uniform on and walked back through the kitchen still chatting on his cell phone. I thought maybe he is off of break and is ready to help out and get them caught back up. Nope, I was wrong about that. He continued his phone conversation and disappeared between the kitchen and line equipment. I verbally mentioned that it would be nice to have our order taken and unfortunately my verbal pleas went unanswered and/or outright ignored. While waiting during this time I noticed the staff touching their faces with gloves hands and not changing out the gloves and then handling the food. I also noticed this in the drive through window as well. Hands were not washed after handling money (gross). Once I saw this from all of the staff I felt as if it were the lord himself pointing us away from that premeditated GI murder scene. It was if the staff just didn’t care about the customers, their jobs, and the obvious glaring red flags of health infractions. A county health inspector would probably have a hay day with that place with the evening shift folks.
I’ve worked fast food and quick service before. I get it that you sometimes just get demolished. But you’re getting demolished because you’re moving as fast as you can and expediting everyone as fast as possible and communicating to the customers about the small wait or what the expectations are. It obviously took us longer because we washed our hands by the book. And yes In doing so your hands literally cracked and became very damaged from the soaps and washing them so much. There are great lotions out there for fixing it.
Back to Wendy’s. I said enough to the spouse and child and stated that we are leaving and we will pick something else. We went to Taco Bell and got in and out without issue and yes they were busy. Not my first choice in food but the service was at least amazing at Taco Bell.
At Wendy’s we didn’t even get our orders taken and acknowledged. We...
Read moreBefore i post why i'm giving this store a 1 star review i will throw out there that i was at one point an employee here, i quit last year and i'm currently working as a nursing aide at a retirement home, so i haven't been into this location since i quit, but my husband goes to pick up food here once in awhile, today i asked him to go pick up some food for us and he goes in to order, he was the only one there, today is 3/15/2017 he ordered around 230-3pm some blonde headed girl was on counter, so hes trying to order and he told me she kept saying "anything else" after each thing he ordered, and he says he asked 3 times for extra pickles on his triple baconator and still didnt get them, so ended up getting them on the side,i ordered an asiago and i could tell it was older probably close to expiring, (it was just like that the last time i ordered to) infact just about everytime weve ordered since i quit our order is either old or messed up, starting to feel like its just lazy workers or its being done on purpose because they know me and my husband which if thats the case is BS because we order for our 2 year old as well, this location as far as a job and or just going in as a customer, used to be really decent but now it seems to have gone downhill, its pretty bad that after he got done ordering and leaving the people behind him made the comment to my husband about the counter girl "wow it really takes 3 people to help her?", i suggest something change at this location because treating your customer even former employees like crap is not going to look good on your business either way, whats even more sad is being told about how my husband told them about my new job when he was asked and the manager turns and tells another manager about it and makes a comment under their breath, ill leave out the names because unlike some i have more respect than that.i know my review probably wont be taken seriously "just because" but im a customer now and when we keep getting less than good quality food and rude service when theres really no excuse for it, then yes i will make a complaint and voice my experiance because this isnt right, hopefully the DM or anyone in HR sees this because they all need to be aware of the food quality and service of this location because lately its gone down hill and im not the only local around who has made such complaints, also might want to read some of the other google...
Read moreA sign is proudly displayed on each door of their restaurant with a B rating from the health department, which made us a tad nervous. Two couples, we were on a road trip and wanted to try the orange cream frosty we had seen advertised. We first went into the bathrooms. The women's handicap stall had no toilet paper and someone had put a roll of heavy duty paper towels on top of the grab bar to use!!! A great way to have plumbing problems. The floors were sticky and dirty. The sink was dirty. After washing my hands I went to the counter to let a lady know that toilet paper was needed because the towels would stop up toilets. My husband and brother in law used the men's restroom. The toilet was stopped up with fecal matter floating. Urinal was usable but again he said he thought his shoes would stick to the floor. We ordered four orange frosties- they were --just okay. I also ordered a Coke. The man had to go find the correct change. Rather than go ahead and give us a cup, he went somewhere to get change which took a while. After returning and counting out the change, he disappeared -- I'm thinking to get a cup. He never returned. Waited for someone else to get me a cup but she filled it herself from her dispenser instead. I asked if I could refill it in the machine. She said "no, you have to come back here". I said "I can't use the machine?" She said, "no ma'am, it don't work". Okay-- just say that to begin with. It appeared to us that none of the employees were happy working and their movements displayed it. It also appeared management was making absolutely no efforts to get the proudly displayed B rating (from February 2023!!!! Over a year ago) raised to an A. It was indeed the absolute dirtiest Wendys we've...
