Fuel - Fresh American Grill — Restaurant in Branson

After looking at pictures/prices/high reviews we decided to take a chance and have a meal. It was terrible! All of our fries were soggy and cold. Which is surprising considering just about every meal comes with fries you would think they would be fresh. The pulled pork was drenched in a nasty sweet bbq sauce with no flavor except dry, cold pork and brown sugar. The chicken strips were soggy and cold. The hotdog was fine, except cold and soggy fries, I’m not sure how the grilled cheese is cooked because my daughters cheese appeared melted but was hard and cold when we she tried to eat it. We were charged for extra fries due to asking if fries come with the grilled cheese since it wasn’t listed on the receipt with the meal. There was no service after the food was delivered to even tell someone it was bad. I’m not sure how anyone would recommend this place after the food we had! And I’ve already emailed the email you recommend to notify as well. To add to this we also had half our party come into the restaurant a few minutes after we ordered and they were told by the cashier that they were no longer taking orders and they could wait “for awhile” until they are able to take orders again or go somewhere else. The restaurant was less than probably 40% full. There was no line when we arrived to order and they were told to leave at 1 in the afternoon. This is the most ridiculously OVERPRICED RIP OFF I've experienced in quite some time. Totally taking advantage of tourists. Yes I've been to touristy places. Even lived in Key West for a few years and know how it operates. You have local prices and tourist prices. I get it. I expect it. And budget for it. But $85.00 for 2 adults and 2 children to eat lunch at an amusement park is taking it too far. The reviews for this place has to be from locals, fake or from rich people to whom money isn't an issue. A chicken sandwich, BLT, grilled cheese sandwich and pork belly fries. 85$! And to be fair... a pint of Guiness. Everyone else got water. Quality of food was average at best. Ruined our last day in Branson. Everything else we did was very reasonably priced and a lot of fun. So stay away from this place and you should have a great time. I don't normally do reviews. This was the worst experience we used to have a fuel in Independence Missouri. We were looking forward to having some cold beers and appetizers or a little bit of food. We got in there and had to wait forever when it place was pretty much almost empty cashier made a mistake on way on ordering our food in the system. And we couldn't even get it corrected because they were making mistakes on everyone else's orders. So we chose to just get up and walk out I just didn't everything was going south. My boyfriend never gets angry about anything as far as that's concern he's always had patients to wait for things like that. But three people having to try and correct their orders because they weren't done right and having to wait in another line to get it fixed at a cash register.
