As someone who briefly worked here, I feel it’s important to share a perspective that diners don’t usually see. This place has an incredibly high employee turnover, and it’s not hard to see why. The management fails to take care of their staff in even the most basic ways, no proper training, no respect, and certainly no support.
I was expected to learn an entire craft cocktail menu and handle a packed Friday night shift after just one day of rushed training. Meanwhile, others had trained for over a month and still weren’t expected to do the same. It felt less like a team environment and more like being thrown to the wolves because no one else wanted to step up.
Worse, they didn’t properly pay for training time, which is not only unfair but unethical after I spent my valuable time helping them build and organize their inventory/bartend. The manager, in particular, creates a toxic atmosphere condescending toward staff and shockingly disrespectful to guests behind their backs. It’s clear there’s little concern for long term success or quality when employees are treated as disposable and guests are looked down on.
If you care about supporting restaurants that value both their customers and their staff, this may not be the place to spend your...
Read moreI stopped in during their 2-5 happy hour to see what it was like. Their renovations over the last occupant are excellent. They really brightened the place up. Got there at about 4:20 and it was pretty slow which is understandable. Had the manager come over and greet us and was very cordial. He explained the happy hour specials and left. The bartender gave my wife a white wine (allegedly on happy hour). I decided to try the elote corn. When it came out it was mostly cold and some parts were room temperature. Flavor was good. He offered to send it back but I said don't bother ( I never send anything back heard too many stories over the years) . Another couple came in and ordered quesadilla and fish tacos that looked and smelled delicious. We decided to leave since we were just checking it out. When the bill came, they charged us full price $12.00 for happy hour wine! Not cool. Paid and left. Will be hard pressed to...
Read moreI was excited to try this spot in braselton- my Drink was delicious, the food was so fresh and great. However, my experience was ruined with the service. My husband and I are 1 of 3 patrons in this entire place and the service has been terrible. I can understand poor service for a full restaurant. However, not an empty one. As I type this I have been waiting 10 minutes for my waitress, Joana, to come pick up my payment. So long that my significant other has taken my child to the car, but my waitress is chatting with a coworker and has been for a significant period of time. Additionally, as I walked into the place there was a happy hour sign out front with the prices, but then when I got my check everything was full price. I informed them of the happy hour/the sign out front, since I was eating at 3P. They stated “the person earlier must have accidentally put it out”, I am disappointed that they did not honor their...
