We ordered take out tonight. We ordered sashimi, 2 sushi rolls, a chicken tonkatsu bento box, and a chicken and scallops hibachi. At first we thought it might have been a little pricey, but I got home and served it out and each meal alone can feed like 2-3 people each even though they are considered individual meals.
The ingredients in the salad (included in the 2 meals) and sushi are so fresh and you can taste that! I got "plain noodles" as my side for the bento box and PLAIN is SOOOOOO not the word for those noodles they burst with flavor. The pork dumpling wasn't super greasy. The tonkatsu wasn't muscley or doused in grease. My husband's hibachi had an amazingly stellar amount of scallops considering he gets them from our previous go to hibachi place in buford and he would only get like 5 scallops in the same exact meal. The dressing for the salads is made fresh and you can tell. The soups are so flavorful and have a nice texture.
The staff was so friendly and prompt I placed the order at 5:40ish, pulled up at 5:58ish and was still out by 6:05 with everything correct, packaged amazingly and all with a great attitude.
Needless to say this is definitely our new go to spot for some drop dead delicious food. I can't wait to try the...
Read moreSooo glad we found this new Asian restaurant near us. The service is quick and friendly and the quality of the food is good and fairly priced. I originally was concerned because their menu offers a variety of Asian cuisine (vs specializing in one main category/region: it has Japanese & Chinese dishes) and was pleasantly when everything we ordered was pretty tasty and nicely prepared and presented. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen with a Spicy Girl sushi roll. We split a plate of gyoza and each had a miso soup for the appetizer. I also had a glass of Riesling. The ramen was delicious and I’d likely order it again. The sushi was beautifully and tasted fresh. They are generous with quantities here. My glass of wine was easily an 8oz pour for $7.50. The sushi deluxe (what my husband ordered) included 10 (!) pieces of nigiri, a spicy tuna roll along with the ginger salad and miso soup for only $25. The bowl of ramen was pretty big too, larger than what I’ve gotten at other restaurants (and it was packed with yummy, chewy noodles and flavorful broth!).
We will definitely be back. Our server was friendly and attentive the whole time. We never had to look around to get her attention or wait long for our food. Please check...
Read moreFood was good. Small portions. Waiter was asked 3x to bring noodles and rice. Each time he would ask clarifying questions on which rice and then ask did we want up charge to noodles. We said, “yes, noddles and rice.” Still brought no rice. We asked for rice again for both of us and he looked confused and brought rice for my husband. Then he almost got upset when we asked for my rice. He didn’t say anything rude but you can tell by his demeanor. I still can’t comprehend what he was so stuck on in the conversation about an up charge that he didn’t understand our response of that’s fine but we are ordering rice and noodles for us both. I def overtipped just to be nice but the experience was not pleasant. Would def...
