This location is now 'under new management'. Leon who I used to work with at this local store was always extremely helpful when it came to technical support or new product knowledge. Unfortunately, my recent visit I came in to discuss why my phone was adding a '+' sign in front of all the phone numbers of inbound calls. I had just switched one of my phones from Verizon to AT&T due to the service being good at my personal house with AT&T and Verizon barely working. Please keep in mind I still have a business account with over 10 devices on it currently with Verizon. After switching this phone over I did spend over two hours on the phone with AT&T tech support to no avail. I thought I would stop by this local Verizon store to see if they could assist. There was a lady working that appeared to be your standard employee and another lady is more business casual attire that appeared to be management. I came in and the lady that appeared to be management greeted me. She said that she was only in that store for a day and wasn't really familiar with the problem or tech support. I said no problem I could wait. She decided that after I waiting awhile she would attempt to help me anyways. After making a meager attempt to do so she said since the phone was no longer with AT&T it wasn't their problem and she couldn't further help regardless insinuating it was more of a courtesy that she tired. I explained that I still am a customer and have multiple lines. She got visible frustrated and audibly sighed at my slight persistence to investigate further. The other lady, the one that appeared to be a standard employee, then stepped in and discussed with me a bit further. Advising that I potentially take the phone to BestBuy or trouble shoot directly with Samsung ( The phone is a S7 Edge). She was polite and assisted, it appeared, as best as she could. At the end of the day it didn't take to much investigation online that this had happened to other people after their switch with different networks. The cure ended up being downloading an app called 'prefixer'. Structuring the inbound calls to remove the plus sign and the outbound calls to add a '1'. It would have been nice for the management position lady to actually try and attempt to solve the solution by inquiring with her team or at minimum turning to 'google' in seeing if she could assist. It wasn't enjoyable feeling that since I removed one phone line from a business account, that still maintains a multitude of phone lines, that I was no longer a valued customer. I'm happy to drive to the Verizon store at the corner of 985 & Friendship Rd in the future to avoid a return trip to this location. There 'under new management' doesn't appear to be one for the better when the management loses sight of...
Read moreI don’t normally do this, but i feel like I should since I may prevent some headaches for future customers. My wife and I visited this store back in December and ordered 2 new iPhones 13s, bc the customer rep recommended locking in the $800 credit for each phone if you trade in your old phones in good condition for the loyalty promo. There were none in stock, so we ordered them and received them at the store in late January. We traded our phones in and thought we were good to go. However, we noticed that Verizon was charging us monthly payments for the phones, so we went back to the store and of course the lady who did our transaction is at another store now and the new guy couldn’t remedy the billing issue. I called Verizon multiple times and received different runaround responses each time. They basically tell me that on their end, the system is saying that the phones were returned in bad condition. I had a trade-in receipt that stated the phones were returned in good condition, but Verizon would not accept the trade receipt bc this store is a 3rd party dealer. This was news to me bc I thought Verizon would assist in fixing this headache. I did get a number for a District Manager named Jay for the store and had some progress, but he left the company and disappeared, so I’m back at square one. Waiting on a response via email from the new District Manager contact that we were given, but I’m not holding my breath. If you want to save yourself some headaches and money, definitely consider using an actual Verizon store when it comes to trade ins. Lesson learned from my end and can’t wait to be done...
Read moreMy visit at the Victra Braselton, Georgia, store was amazing. They are the most helpful people on the planet. Maria explained everything and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Contrast this to my visit last month to the TCC Verizon sore in Crabapple, Georgia, where Lyana went out of her way to be rude and ignorant to me and quite frankly may have committed fraud when she talked me into purchasing a Google phone to add to my account that would only increase my bill by a total of $13 per month ($8 for the finance charge on the Google phone and $5 a month for the line access fee). Lyana refused to give me any documentation supporting this claim but she said it would take several billing cycles for her verbal contract and promises to be proven true. If she told me once she told me a thousand times. “Your bill will only increase by $13”. So far it’s not looking good. What a moron I was for walking into a TCC store. It’s Victra...
