My sister lives 5 mins from this restaurant, her family goes nearly every Friday. My family lives out of town, but visited to celebrate her birthday. 9 of us ate at this restaurant tonight. We ordered 3 appetizers and 9 meals, spent a lot of money. I ordered the "Rachel", their homemade reuben sandwich with its in-house made pastrami and homemade sauerkraut and spicy sauce. Food arrived and the sandwich looked like something from a vending machine. Very small portion of pastrami (like really small), tiny dollop of sauerkraut on the corner of the bread, and non-existent sauce. I politely asked the server to take it back. The cook then brought it back out and told me that's how it's made. Then, the owner came out and belittled me. Told me they cook the pastrami for 5 days and that's what you get. Well, if it's that good, let me experience it! Don't send out an embarrassing looking $12.99 sandwich and tell me you're happy with what your kitchen is serving customers. I had a $6.99 Reuben from Arby's that was twice the sandwich. The owner of this restaurant is a joke. He drove away a family of 4 weekly regulars who will never visit again. Avoid this restaurant at all costs, the owner is not a good person and doesn't deserve...
Read moreCame across this place through google when we looked for place eat before driving home. It had a high rating, so we figure we’d give it shot since we’ll soon be moving into the area. Our first impression was disappointing. The new waitress in training used a new name every time she came over. It was sweetie, honey, love, friend. A tad unprofessional in my own opinion. I’ve lived in the south(Bama and Tennessee) all my life and thought it was a bit much. The mugs of water were dirty. One mug had lipstick still on there. The pork nachos had little pork, jalapeños, and tomato’s. It was certainly the skimpiest pork nachos I’ve ever had. The chicken sandwich and fries were good. The service was good as well. There was a happy hour, however they only served your very basic domestic beers. The interior of the place seemed like someone threw some tables and chairs in there. A couple of pool tables to play on. The could have been doing some work to improve the inside as they were moving things around. Certainly seemed like a places for locals to hang out. Worth giving another shot down...
Read moreDo not eat here! I placed an order for pickup. I odered fish and fries and potato skins. O, my how this food was so disgusting. The fish n fries were soggy. The potato skins were over cooked. They were so dry and hard. The cheese was so old and dry and some were burnt. All of this food had been waiting on me. In other words, this food had been cooked long before I placed the order. Like another review comment, I don't like wasting food, so I tried to stomach this stuff. I could not and wanted to see what a manager would do to assist if I brought it to his/her attention. I called the restaurant and asked for a manager, but a guy answered and told me he is the owner (Tom). I explained my food is soggy and not fresh, and he immediately cuts me off to say how he cooked it himself, so it's not old. He said that maybe I don't know what fresh food is and should go find another place. I tried to have a decent conversation with him, but he continued to cut me off to defend his old food to me. There was no accountability or professional handling at all. I just had to...
