Ok!! Where do I start? I will start here first when I first walked up I was really excited because I found that it was black owned, and I they take EBT for certain things. Thatâs always a plus, right? But as I ordered my food, everything was going smooth and sailing. I was really excited.. Until my food was in the making. It was a guy that took my order. He didnât know the menu and that was a little bit frustrating but I dealt with it Because maybe he was new!! But once my order was in a manager, came out to help him as well, and this is when it all went down, she was very loud and obnoxious to him, talking to him, as if he was a kid or a peasant as a Customer, I should not know that you are telling your cook what to do and what not to do in a aggressive tone. I should not have to hear that that is something personal and private that you should be doing with your employee the whole building should not know what youâre talking about.. trying your employees right and you donât have to worry about what your employees is doing right or wrong!! OK its very small inside all those chairs and tables should not have been in there. It was very tight and very uncomfortable to sit one table was by the garbage can.. OK as my food came out, I asked for Panini and it was regular sandwich bread I didnât ask them. For that my words This is not a Panini. This is regular sandwich.. they did took it back and just grilled it came back as a grilled sandwich. I know how Panini look and a Panini has lines and grilled and thin, as a customer, I shouldnât tell you how a Panini should look it was a grilled sandwich. After I ate the sandwich, my teeth was hurting for a few hours. Thatâs how hard the sandwich was. I was very disappointed. I ordered a cake the cake was dry like itâs been sitting right there for days or weeks. I ask to use the bathroom after dining in side note waited for my food for 45 minutes I only ordered a soup, sandwich , water and a cake. As the guy that took my order, let me use the bathroom. The manager with the blonde hair was on the outside of the bathroom, letting me know that the bathroom was out of order and the employee didnât know to tell me that. The bathroom was perfectly fine. I walked right out after that because as a customer donât have me waiting for 45 minutes for my food and then eating another 30 minutes and tell me I canât use the bathroom. If a customer cannot use the bathroom you should not make your restaurant a sit down place and thatâs that. Iâll Never be back.
Iâm not into reviews, but this one had to be done!! And I like to see my Black people thrive, but from the bad attitude from the manger to the grill sandwich that I couldâve made at home, and the cold soup was very...
Read moreI have gone here before and I liked the food. But today for some reason...not so much. I walked in and the person who took my order (the owner maybe?) was on the phone complaining about a service. She took my order while on the phone, I paid with my debit card and she took my number and told me she would call when the order was ready. (Not unusual in COVID times) besides I took advantage of what I thought would be a short wait (5-7 min) and enjoyed the cross breeze and few minutes away from work. What should have been a short wait turned into forever. I even lost track of time, I looked down at my watch. and it turned out to be at best a 17 -20 minute wait. I walked back in the store to be asked if they could help me. I said, Im here for my food. Then the lady behind the counter who took my order said, "Oh didnt I just talk to you. I shook my head no, trying to let her hear the frustration in my voice. She said, oh well I thought I did, I was talking to a lady about her order. Well, here it is, enjoy. It's a 2 min drive from 175th and Kedzie to Chantilly Ln in Hazel Crest. I got into work, opened my soup and sandwich....they were cold. The bread had been toasted but the meat was cold and the soup had congealed as it was no longer hot. I paid $17 for cold soup and sandwich. To say Im a bit disappointed is an understatement. The soup (Potato Leek) wasn't tasty or seasoned either. I ate the sandwich out of hunger. I guess I should have called to complain but I just chalk it up to ...Never again and just go back to bringing my lunch from home. An expensive, cold, untasty $17 lesson. Sorry Pink...
Read moreI placed my order online at 3:12pm and it showed my order would be done at 3:32pm. I get there and he said he doesnât have my order. And wanted to go back and forth with me until I showed him the email confirmation. Then proceeded to say itâll be 15min. So i sat and waited patiently for 20-25min. So when my order was ready i said, âfor my inconvenience youâre not going to offer me something to drink?â He says, âit really isnât an inconvenience cause it wasnât my fault. It was a technical error and not a human error.â I said, âregardless what kind of error it was, itâs still an inconvenience for me. Because i placed the order on you guys website and for whatever it wasnât received on your end. But, my food was supposed to be ready at 3:32 and i still had to wait another 20-25min.â I didnât have a good customer service experience and for that reason i will not be back. I spent $52 here for 2 jerk chicken, shrimp and veggie wraps and a jerk salmon wrap. And for you not to offer me a drink or anything for my inconvenience is crazy. For that reason I will...
