CAVA — Restaurant in Brick Township

Every single time I come to this location there is a problem. The first issue I had was I asked for white rice they didn’t have it I said I would wait . I waited 5 minutes for rice and ask for falafel and was told they were all out I said I will wait. I wait another 10 minutes for someone to then come out and say they completely ran out. I left empty handed because at this point I waited 15 minutes for them to tell me they have nothing in the store that I eat . Second instance I come and ask for my dips on the side and the worker put them in I assume a side cup instead of the smaller portions that come with the bowl and did not mention a up charge which I didnt think there would be considering it was the dips I like that come with the bowl just on the side . I also would like to note I was told there would be a upcharge for my double protein but not the dips. I get to the register and the person charges me $22.07 for the dips and when told that I just wanted the side dips the person tried to get smart and say what sauces did you want as if I didn’t order the right ones.the person then proceeds to make my longer wait even longer by going and scooping new smaller cups for my bowl taking even more time when it was simply the staffs mistake . I then go to get my soda and there is blueberry lemonade all over the counter and out of ice .The workers are extra slow you can expect to wait at least 15-20 minutes for your foods to be scooped into a bowl and that is if you don’t have to wait for them to make something that they have ran out of. All of the workers look like they want to off themselves and the place is gross and always dirty. They need a new manager or all together new staff. OH MY CAVA! From the moment I walked in the BRICK LOCATION, I was greeted with the warmest smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful—taking the time to walk me through the menu and make thoughtful recommendations based on my preferences.

The entire restaurant was spotless—clean, fresh, and beautifully organized, which immediately gave me confidence in the quality of their food and service.

And speaking of the food… WOW. Every bite was bursting with bold Mediterranean flavor. The ingredients tasted so fresh and vibrant—from the perfectly grilled proteins to the crisp vegetables and savory sauces. It was a true explosion of taste and texture that left me completely satisfied. LOVED THE FALAFEL! It was like no other, over fried and crispy blobs but it was these warm and delicious bites where you can actually taste and see the chickpeas!

If you’re looking for a place that delivers not only mouthwatering dishes but also top-tier service and a welcoming atmosphere, CAVA is it. Five stars without a doubt! I’ll definitely be back!...

This was hands down the worst experience I’ve had at any CAVA location—and that’s saying a lot considering the few I’ve been to have all been underwhelming. When I walked in, there was no line, but the staff was just standing around talking among themselves. I stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, and when someone finally walked over, it was with an annoyed expression like I was inconveniencing them.

I always build my own salad bowl, and to my surprise, they were out of both the Splendid Greens and SuperGreens. All they had was plain spinach. When I asked if there was any more in the back, the staff member shrugged and replied with a disinterested “no.” No apology. No explanation. Just pure indifference.

How does a place that specializes in salad bowls run out of salad? It’s baffling.

I ended up leaving without ordering and, honestly, I don’t see myself coming back to any CAVA location anytime soon. If this experience is reflective of the brand, then it’s clear there’s a serious issue with quality and customer service...
