**A Taste of the New: A Review of SMALLS SLIDERS ** In my quest for culinary adventure, I recently found myself at Smalls Sliders, eager to dive into something fresh and exciting. While my experience was certainly memorable, it also had its ups and downs. First off, let’s talk menus. The selection was refreshingly straightforward, making it a breeze for both indecisive diners and picky eaters to find their favorites without feeling overwhelmed. Simplicity can be a true virtue in the world of dining! However, I can't gloss over the wait time—it was quite the marathon. After roughly 40 minutes in line, I settled in for an additional 25 minutes for my order to arrive. Patience is a virtue, but this was a lesson in mindfulness for future visits! As for the star of the show, the burgers were decent, serving their purpose without any bells or whistles. The fries? They were okay—not the highlight I might have hoped for. And then there was the ‘premium’ milkshake. For $9, I expected a creamy revelation, but it fell just shy of that mark—nice, but hardly worth the price tag. On a positive note, there’s a unique spice that lingers between the burger, fries, and sauce—a delightful touch that adds an unexpected twist to the meal. All in all, Smalls Sliders offers a new experience worth trying, but be prepared for a bit of a wait and manage your expectations regarding the menu.

I waited several months after the opening of the Smalls Sliders location in Bridgeton MO to gauge acceptance from customer reviews and minimize crowding. Drive-thru service was most popular @ noontime on a weekday, and there's no indoor seating in the corporate standard building (which looks like a large overseas shipping container with a roof & a food prep suite & public bathrooms). Unfortunately I picked one of the hottest days of summer to finally stop for a lunch; but kudos to the management for having large oscillating fans circulating air around their covered patio dining space. The only negative that I encountered on my first visit to Smalls was that window walk-up & pre-arrival orders weren't anything near first in/first out service, which didn't go over well with some of the carryout lunch customers & delivery service drivers. I was lucky enough to have my order jump the line & I was very impressed with my just-over $10 meal (two cheeseburger sliders with a mild but tangy Smauce® & a generous serving of meaty slightly spicy waffle fries & a medium fountain drink). Room for service improvement, but Smalls has a solid product to offer from a focused fast food menu.

After 6 total experiences at this place I have to change my review from 5 stars to 2. There is alot of staff here that don't want to represent this brand and treat you poorly even after waiting hours upon hours for food. I know the owners are busy also back there making food but if they only knew some of their staff and managers were treating people like literal crap after waiting to support this restaurant. Great experience when avoiding the rush! Please note that some of the 1 star reviews are WEEKS before they even opened. I also own a business in this community and opened in the middle of winter and it's TOUGH so yes the date got pushed back several times but they don't deserve 1 stars for it because it's a tough process for food service companies to get all the green flags during the winter. Please consider that when reading the 1 stars. We were happy with our sliders, I'm not a fan of thousand island like sauce which is basically what their "smauce" is so if you are like me, let them know you don't want it on your sliders.this definitely an elevation from white castle. Definitely recommend.

This review is coming from someone who worked in the Food Service industry for yrs. I worked at Hotels, Country Clubs, & several very popular Restaurants in Missouri. I helped open 2 Restaurants of a very popular Restaurant Chain that is nationwide, so when I write a review on an establishment, I take it very seriously! Eversince hearing about this establishment I had been waiting for it. Through 2 or 3 failed opening dates & misleading online news stories of "Smalls Sliders" openings & driving to the location only to be disappointed that their were no lights & no business, because they were still constructing the Parking Lot & Drive Thru areas. I've read close to 50 reviews about the Food & Service at "Smalls Sliders" & they really are not worth commenting about, because they really are a joke!! I finally visited "Smalls Sliders" on 1/22/25 & waited in a line for 45 mins or longer at the Drive Thru before finally ordering a #3 which consisted of 3 Smalls Sliders an order of Waffle Fries & a Drink. I requested Queso for my Waffle Fries & passed on the Soft Drink & instead went for a Cookies & Cream Milkshake. I did not receive any Queso for my Fries which was disappointing & frustrating. The Sliders were tasty & nice size & the Milkshake was surprisingly good & thick. I would definitely choose Smalls Sliders over White Castles. With that being said, their was no excuse for what customers dealt with & are still dealing with regarding the long waits. The concept may be creative & fresh, but it was not thought out thoroughly regarding flow of traffic & fluidity!! For the person who wrote the review saying to excuse people not being able to get to "PF", because of a "New Business", that's inexcusable!! U have "Soft Openings" for a reason, to workout any & all kinks that may occur before the actual opening!! A Soft Opening is specifically for Testing The Menu & Service & getting feedback from a smaller-more forgiving crowd before opening to the total public. U should not open to complete chaos! Smalls Sliders is like waiting in rush hour traffic, how patient do U expect customers to be after waiting 1,2, & even 3hrs & their hungry?? Alottttt of hype for a mediocre establishment. Customers deserve better!!! I honestly thought that their Drive Thru would have elements of Chik Fil A, unfortunately it doesn't & customers are made to suffer... I find it funny reading the many reviews that hype "Small's Sliders" up like they are the Holy Grail of sliders. Come back down to reality & realize that their menu is not super complicated, we're talking about an establishment that serves Sliders, Fries, & Milkshakes & to make it even easier on them, they only serve 1 size of Fries & Shakes, but U still have to wait 1,2, or 3hrs for that. Figure how much gas ur wasting in that amount of time in the Drive Thru & is it really worth it?? U've probably wasted enough gas to afford 1 or 2 meals!! Ok, on 2/10/25 I decided to give "Smalls Sliders" another chance, thinking & hoping that maybe they had improved & worked out some issues by now, but unfortunately it was just a different day & time, but the exact same results!!! It is very obvious that Bridgeton nor the Owners of "Smalls Sliders" thought out the complete concept of putting it in the location that they did. It really makes no sense at all!!!. With the amount of Drive-Thru traffic that they do on a daily basis, somebody please explain to me why their is only 1 person trying to manage 2 Drive-Thru lanes(sigh)? & to top it off, the employee couldn't keep up with whose order she had taken, so she had to go to each vehicle & ask them if she had already taken their order.. Their are numerous things that "Smalls Sliders" could do or change to get a more efficient & quicker traffic flow going through . The whole concept & the traffic flow might work in New Orleans, but Missouri is the "Show Me" State & "Smalls Sliders" is going to have to do alottttttt better!!! The Menu is not complicated & is very simple. U choose from Options 1 Thru 4 & go from there &...

Ok so I am writing this review WHILE I’m eating.

First - YES the slide thru {drive thru) line is long as hell! We waited TWO hours. BUT everyone waiting was patient and the coordination of the lines were orderly. There is one line coming in from St. Charles Rock Rd and another line from the Natural Bridge side. This is to get INTO the lot. There are traffic directors there at the entrance to the ordering area so no one is fighting trying to go ahead of another car in the line.

Service was great from start to finish. The young lady who took my order outside in the cold was pleasant and the young lady I gave my money to at the window was as well. There was a small hiccup with my order but it was quickly remedied to my satisfaction.

NE-OOOWH this food… DELICIOUS! It did not taste like frozen patties to me but I’m not an expert in that area. What I AM an expert in is fresh good food. And this is it! The bun is nice and soft, buttery, and tasty. The meat is seasoned. WAIT let me take another bite…..

Ok yes where was I? Oh the burger. Hot. The fries were seasoned and hot. The queso on the side for dipping did not taste cheap so that’s a plus as well. And last but not least this vanilla shake… yaaasss!

GO GET YOU SOME! It’s worth the wait.

My order was (2) #4s and sub the drink for a shake. Total $38

S/N … don’t try to compare this to White Castle… they are similar in the fact that they both have small burgers {sliders}.. these are noticeably bigger BUT they each have...

Ok, I gave Smalls a try...Long story short, the burger was good and so were the waffle fries. I'm not big on that sort of queso cheese sauce for dipping fries though...not bad as far as taste is concerned, but that processed cheese consistency...I can do without. I got in car traffic line at about 7:30pm....one of the traffic directors suggested the walk up line, so I did....stood in the cold for over an hour before I got my food..,ugghh I'm hungry! It took about 20 minutes just to order, I walked back to my car with my burger, fries and root beer at about 15 min to 9pm...yea, I don't normally do such a thing...I got the combo meal, biggie smalls burger w/ bacon, fries, side of queso and root beer, $11.75. I'll cook beans tomorrow 😊.burger was hot off the grill, very good. Bun nice and soft and greasy, yum! It was just the right smalls size...those waffle fries were soft and crispy, would be great with ranch dressing...burgers would be good with grilled onions....I don't think Smalls have onions in their establishment though. Mustard and ketchup would be nice too on that sort of burger, lettuce and tomato and mayo would be great on their burgers! The sauce is good, and I think they were running out of it...Cierra, the nice young lady saw me outside for a long time so she fixed my meal for me so that I can be on my way, good service sweetheart! She is a sweetheart. The staff is nice! Did not get one bad vibe😍😘I will return for the burger if nothing else, extra...
