Wendy's — Restaurant in Brighton

Not. Awesome. We came in around 2:30 on a Saturday after my daughter's soccer game. (Wendy's is her favorite!!) So, there was no one else there... Maybe one other person... Maybe.

So we ordered crispy chicken sandwich, chicken strips, a kids meal and a Jr. Baconator for the 9 yr old soccer star! They didn't give us our drinks until the food came out which is annoying but whatever. We asked for sauces and didn't get any so we had to go back up and wait awkwardly for the lady to be like, "hey, where's our sauce...?" Ok, it's happened before, so whatever. But the food was cold and sad and honestly gross. I feel used and ashamed after eating it. I had simultaneously greasy, cold, soggy fries and one fry that looked like it was stuck at the bottom of the frier for a week solid-also cold though. :( This might have been the first time I didn't eat my fries at Wendy's. :'( The chicken tenders were also cold, except one hot one... YAY! My kiddos wanted a frosty, but I was both terrified by what could be gross about it and also apprehensive about potentially destroying the fond memories of previous Wendy's frostys.

Wendy's is usually our favorite. This was a horrible experience and we probably won't go back to this...

Where do I start? Let's start with I spent 30 dollars on possibly the WORST meal on the planet. My fries were cold and gross. My spicy nuggets were lukewarm and gross. And my Jr bacon cheeseburger....well, the keyword in that is bacon, which my burger did NOT have... Now I get it, fast food right before they close blah blah blah but....my bacon tho? How is that possible? I'm not even gonna mention how the burger was already made wrong, but y'all forgot my bacon... now, to make matters worse.... My burger was older than I am. I wouldn't give it to a homeless dog. (See video on my Facebook) And the words "no ice" means no ice, therefore there should be NO ice in my drink, and yet..... No surprise tho, there was ice in my drink... And then y'all messed up my pregnant girlfriends food too? Y'all should just quit. While I'm here.... Your drive through cashier seemed like he was mad at the fact he was alive, well, that's something we can agree on. So between him and whatever moron was making food horribly....your parents should be insanely embarrassed that y'all can't make a burger at Wendy's...

We just walked out of the Wendy's in Brighton, Mi because they were unwilling to help us. We stopped there after my son's basketball game for a double stack which he has safely eaten for many years but not in the last several months. We checked the ingredients as we always do and found that the ingredient list indicated that all of their burgers contain egg. I went to attendant at the register to ask what changed and she looked at me with a blank stair. A man working the line went on to tell me they are not allowed to tell us anything except what is on the Poster in the lobby. So, I asked again what part of the burger has eggs and he went on to tell me that they can't gaurantee anything just like any fast food restaurant. To which I replied that he was incorrect and that we have been doing this for a long 13 years. I am completely frustrated with Wendy's and their employees complete lack of empathy. We have never had a restaurant not help us find something safe for my son to...
