Let me first start by saying I was a Moe’s fan many years ago then I moved away and didn’t have a location near me. Now I’m in a new state with a Moe’s so I was looking forward to eating at a once favorite place. Not this time.
The attached picture is their version of a chicken bowl. And this was after asking for a little more rice!! I was afraid to ask for more chicken because I didn’t want to have an extra meat charge added to the already expensive total. When did they raise their prices so high? For one veggie burrito, a small container of queso, one chicken bowl, and one small drink, I paid over $23.00.
The burrito was black bean, rice and cheese only. You can see that the food temperature wasn’t hot enough to melt the cheese.
I was going to ask for lettuce until I saw that the lettuce had way too many brown pieces in it. There was no ice in the drink machine. I got ice from the tea machine. When I asked how to scan the app QR code, the female employee at the register told me I needed to scan my receipt to earn points. She accepted my money and then said she had to go to the bathroom so she called another employee to the register. I’m assuming it was an emergency. No receipt was given and the employee had already completed the transaction. So no rewards or points for this visit. Really doesn’t matter that much because I’m not thinking I will be trying it again in the near future.
I mentioned twice in front of their employees that this wasn’t enough food in the bowl. Not a single one offered to add anything to it.
When did they stop saying welcome to Moe’s. This didn’t affect my review I just think it’s sad how customer service has declined.
The restaurant was clean but that’s the only positive thing I can say about...
Read moreI have had surgery, so I was unable to go in. My husband went in between 8:00 and 8:30 on July 1st. The employees appeared to be already cleaning up, so he had to stand there a bit. When he finished placing my order, the last thing he asked to be put on it wasChipolte Ranch. The attendant used the very scant last amount there at the counter, then looked below the counter to see if there was another bottle. There was not. My husband was completely amazed that she did not even offer to walk just a few feet to the store room where I am positive there is more. At this, he decided to go to Chick-Fila for his dinner. He commented that the employee’s overall demeanor was inhospitable and very unwelcoming, and he truly felt like he was annoying her in the first place. She apparently had many facial piercings, and he says she looked a bit unkempt as well. It will be our last trip to this Moe’s. We had always enjoyed going to Moe’s; the employees are friendly, attentive, helpful, and just look like people we trust to TOUCH things we would put I our mouths. Bristol…. Not so much. Good luck. If your employees are too sorry to walk to a storeroom and equally too engrossed in trying to “close”, you just lost this store not only our business but everyone I can...
Read moreI never go on here, and write reviews, but this store has become a complete rip off. I literally watched the guy before me order a bowl. I will not name the employee, but watched her over fill his rice, and meats, and the kitchen sink. She could barely put the lid on. Didn't write any extra on the lid to upcharge so I thought,oh might be a good day. I barely got a thin layer of rice. Idk what the definition of double meat is,but my version is the original Moe's one scoop filled the whole top. Now you barely get any meat. Let alone I got charge for the added meat, queso, and god knows what else. Yes I know it costs extra, but why did buddy get way more, and not charge a dollar extra. Then she doesn't even stir up the beef. Just scoops the first burnt layer off and smooshes it on. So for one basic burrito, and a bowl it was $46.00's wtf. I can go get a nice full steak meal for that, and get served . Idk why they feel they need to inflate their prices over everyone else, but I've been loyal to this store, but at these prices, and smaller portions. That ends today. Cheaper to make...
