Five Guys — Restaurant in Broken Arrow

I have heard about Five Guys for a long time. Heard that it had wonderful burgers that were out of this world and that they were Gourmet. The small fast food chain does have a very nice entrance as soon as you walk in the door and the people do greet you with friendship greetings. However the atmosphere and the friendliness is not enough to continue to keep eating here. This is a 3-star restaurant atmosphere, and by the way I have heard people talk about the burgers at Five Guys I would have thought it was a Five Star Burger.

Unfortunately that is not the case - the burgers were very flat - they were very tasteless and they were put together in a matter of a sloppy way. The owner of the franchise appeared to be working in the back for his grandchildren and his daughter came in to visit him I heard them call him Papa or Grandpa but I was not very pleased with my burger at this point.

Just by the looks of the sloppiness that it hit my plate made me think that it was not of a good quality and also the fries were a little rubbery and tasted like they had just been heated up after being saved from an hour before.

To start just simply because of the friendliness it is a 3-star atmosphere but the meal was so disappointing and after all the hype that I've heard about Five Guys I am dissapointed in my first time eating experience so it brings my rating of the three-star accommodation down to a two. Let's just face it friendliness and atmosphere cannot overcome quality of food and food presentation so sorry five guys but I won't be saying get you some Five Guys it'll be thank you and good luck. Flat out this place makes really good burgers. Just really really good. They are big though, So bring your appetite, or order a small (single). The fries have always been served hot and fresh every time I have been there. They just started serving brand new options for shakes. A variety of flavors that are tasty as well. They have complimentary shelled peanuts you can gather up and munch on at your table until your food is ready. They also have one of the high class Coca-cola softdrink machines that has all kinds of different flavors to choose from. Refills are free. Also there is outdoor seating with little covered round picnic tables for when the weather is nice.

Only two critiques: 1. it is ALWAYS freezing cold inside this restaurant. Always. Bring your jacket. And I'm hot natured. Trust me. You will get cold. 2. Parking is right in front off the little round picnic tables and windows. There are no barriers to stop cars if they overshoot the curb. For some reason this always makes me nervous there... So I avoid sitting by...

The workers were kind, but my order was super wrong. Went for pickup since they were closing in 30 minutes. We were traveling thru BA. They messed up the first burger and I hadn't even had Time to check mine, I had to take the first one in to be fixed. When I came out the car, I realized mine was also wrong. I don't know how that happened, the gentleman on the phone read the order back to us, and it was fine. The soda machines had no soda options available. We got water. No clue why somebody should pay 30+ dollars for a meal that was made incorrectly from beginning and end. Fries were old, POS SYSTEM was down you couldn't pay with anything but cash. Worst experience I've ever had with five guys, which says a lot, I always ate five Guys when I was recovering from medical treatment in 2019-2021. 2025 update: yall still can't get an order right.
