My husband and I have eaten here twice before and had great customer service and great food. This experience was not the same. We had our adult daughter with us, and had talked up this restaurant, so she wanted to try it. Once we were seated, our server asked if any of us wanted wine. I did, and told her exactly what I wanted. She came back with the rest of the drinks, but not my wine, stating that, as she was only 19, she couldn't pour it, so had to find someone who could. Our daughter ordered the chicken and gnocchi soup, while my husband and I asked for salad. However, I requested that there not be any onion or pepperocchini in the salad, and she said she would see to it. When she came back with the salad, there were both onion and pepperoncchini in it. When I asked her about that, she said it was pre-made and said we could pick it out. What?! Plus, she brought a salad plate for our daughter and no soup. We asked about the soup and she said she would get it. By this time, I could tell that we were not going to get the level of service we had had before, and I was starting to question things. Our salad plates were hot, which wilts the salad immediately. I finally got my wine, but our server didn't follow up with refills for any other drinks. She would disappear and, when she finally made an appearance, we had to ask for refills. When we got our food, our daughter still hadn't gotten her soup. The server offered the soup plus a take-home, but it didn't appear. Our daughter's side was parmesan crusted zucchini, which she isn't that fond of, but knows that I love, so she gave it to me. I was excited to get it but, after the first bite, realized it was raw. That is a cook problem, because the server wouldn't be able to tell, as the parmesan was browned. If I wanted raw zucchini, I would put it in a salad. I wanted to complain, but my husband objected, causing an argument between us. This completley ruined our night. I lost my appetite, and had to question whether my stuffed chicken marsala was cooked correctly. I took the zucchini home with me, only because I knew I could finish cooking it, but shouldn't have had to. My daughter finally got a take home soup, but never the one she ordered with her meal. We live two hours from the nearest Olive Garden, so this was a big treat for us. Now I don't know when we'll be willing to go back to an Olive Garden anywhere. The server was flighty and obviously not trained enough to be working a busy night. We complained to her and were offered no compensation. We did finally get a take-home soup, but never the originally ordered one. Very...
Read moreI visited Olive Garden in Broken Arrow with my daughter. We went to have a nice dinner together and it was. The Eggplant Parmigiano was excellent as it has always been. My daughter enjoyed her entree as well but I can't remember what she had. We did feel rushed out by our waitress, and it kinda seemed like she was put out by having to wait on us. They were busy at the time and we had to wait to be seated we arrived. I don't assume to know what was going on behind the scenes or before we got there, so we didn't take it personally. She did say something I've never heard there before, though. When we ordered, she asked us both "soup or salad." I said, "salad." My daughter said, "soup," but our meals come with breadsticks and salad anyways right? Our waitress replied, "No, she would bring us breadsticks but only enough salad for one person." I could be wrong, but I have always believed the breadsticks and salad were part of the meal when you ordered entrees. Either way, it wasn't a bad experience. We shared my salad for one, and both enjoyed our meals. I hope that's not a new policy they have, though.
Updated November 2023 My daughter and I enjoyed having dinner at Olive Garden in Broken Arrow again recently. Maps has asked me to update my review. Our most recent waitress, word for word, quoted the same policy about who gets salad and how many breadsticks we'd initially get. (She did bring us a second basket of bread sticks. The salad and breadsticks we were given were plenty, I thought we should have gotten more at first, but we didn't end up needing more. I'm still not sure if the notion i have of heaping bowls of salad and breadsticks is from past experience or if I made up this entitlement. Either way, their allowance was just right for our dinner. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce. It was as excellent, as I expected it to be. My daughter had the gnocchi soup with salad and was very happy with her meal. It seems like their prices have gone up, like everything else nowadays. It wasn't too expensive though. We had great dining...
Read moreI’m only giving a one star because I can’t leave a no star or negative star review. I called a week ago to schedule a reservation for a party of 20-25 people at 6pm for my husbands 60th birthday party & was told to call closer to time but that they had written down our reservation. I called about 2pm reminding the restaurant that our party was coming & they said okay. We get there assuming to be seated immediately. Of course, we weren’t & was then told that our tables weren’t ready yet & I told them of my call a week ago & my call earlier in the day & I actually called on our way driving to the restaurant. They then told me they do not take reservations. This was the first time I was told this. I spoke to the manager and of course he told me the same thing. It would have been helpful if I would’ve been told this a week prior when I originally called. So, we are eventually seated and almost every one ordered one of the new specials. The waiter & waitress came back letting us know that they were out of almost everyone’s order so we chose something else. When our food came out we found out that they were out of the giant meatball that was supposed to be on top of the big stuffed noodles & so they were all given 3 small meatballs to take the place of the giant meatball. Again, had to choose something else. Finally, we got our food. Everyone gets their tickets & they are all wrong! At this time we are more than unhappy with every part of our experience. None of us will EVER come back!!! This was literally the WORST experience I have ever had anywhere in my life! Every single aspect of our experience was awful!!! I can’t believe this restaurant is still open! And this wasn’t everything!!! You should be ashamed to keep this...
