Great place to have a peaceful dinner my wife I have been going now for almost a year since moving to Brookline and each time we go it's like walking into someone's home getting ready to make the best dinner you could ever ask for using only the freshest ingredients you can get. They are very attentive with my wife's allergies. Their Maki's are out of this world I their spring rolls and Crab Rangoons are to die for. The chefs are pleasant and easily accessible if you ever need anything and the wait staff attentive. It's just like being in Japan but without spending a fortune on transportation. Hospitality is hard to fine at bigger restaurants and we always like to support small businesses when possible so if you ever in Brookline stop by and you'll be wanting to come back for more. Huge menu for a small place and the amount they give you is so worth the money compared to other...

Great sushi is a delight to the eye and the palate. Different rolls have distinctive flavor, enough to not need wasabi or soy sauce. Gari (pickled ginger) cleanses the palate between rolls. Adequate sushi has a clean, light taste, but all the rolls taste about the same, with little variation. The restaurant is very light and clean, and the nontraditional music is pleasant, just loud enough to suppress other tables' conversations, but not to interfere with conversation at a table. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, pleasant, fairly speedy for custom sushi, and unobtrusive. We had the Maki special ($4.50/ roll for any of 28 rolls, usually up to $9.95, $15/person minimum, cash only). This was a good meal, and a terrific...

Don’t like the salad too much . But this shrimp tempura roll is really delicious. Shaomai is average and not recommended. The other side of Coolidge Corner, but it feels sparsely populated. It seems that it can only be taken out, and the takeaway package is particularly good. I think it may not satisfy the taste, but the pursuit of cost-effectiveness is really worth it. More importantly, they have a lot of choices, all of which are so cheap! ! ! What else are grilled cheese sweet potatoes, golden shrimp balls, fried tofu, I want to try...

What an amazing place! Everyone was welcoming and friendly as soon as we entered and the chef greeted us and explained the different sushi he recommended us trying. All the sushi we got was truly fresh and delicious. We got two rolls as well, the million dollar maki and salmon mango maki, both were delicious and flavors I hadn’t tasted before in a sushi roll! The chef was even nice enough to serve us a complimentary sushi. Overall the experience was amazing and we loved the people, food, and atmosphere:)

We didn't want to stay in metro Boston for food and I'm glad we didn't because this place was phenomenal. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, the owner and chef (Owen), was so kind, and if I lived nearby I'd be here every week. They recently opened under new owners and the high ratings they've been receiving make a ton of sense for the quality and price of the food. Highly recommend the stuff off their omakase special menu. Saved this to my favorite food places near Boston and I'll definitely be back!
