I understand we are in unprecedented times, and we are all a little anxious and on edge, so I am more than willing to be patient, make sacrifices and adjust, but this location of Domino's really doesn't deserve any of that.
I placed an order on-line for carry-out, and there was nothing on the website that made any mention of carry-out being "closed". I paid for the order on-line and they gladly took my money.
I drove to the location in the rain and walked up to the door and it was locked. I tried to get someone's attention and rang the door buzzer but no one came to the door. So I sat in my car thinking they would bring it out to me. After a few minutes I called to let them know I was there. I sat on hold for 9 minutes before I finally hung up. I went back to the door and knocked really loudly until finally someone came over.
Instead of the girl trying to calmly explain to me, that carry-out was "closed", she started getting mad at me about "what do you want me to do, carryout is closed, I can't open the door." I tried to explain to her that I already paid for it. But she just got madder at me.
There was absolutely no note on the door saying anything about carry-out being closed. When I ordered I used my Piece of the Pie profile, I even chose to get updates via text, so they had all of my contact information,, they could have reached out to me to explain the situation and find a resolution, or they could have at least answered the phone when I was sitting in the car, or at the very least let me know at the door that they would refund my money, instead of getting mad at me for something that I had no way of knowing.
I got home and looked at my bank account and thankfully they refunded my money. Otherwise how else do you get your money back when they wont answer the phone, and don't treat you like a paying customer.
With the way I was treated, even when things get back to normal I would rather drive farther and pay more money for a different brand of pizza than to return to this location. It is so sad that we have become a nation of fast food addicted people, and the corporations don't want to pay a living wage or even bother to teach any kind of customer service. It used to be that a place like this who treated their customers like this would go out of business. Poor...
Read moreI always order from this location, why?? Creature of habit and it's the only one that delivers to my address and when the pizza actual comes and if it's actually what you ordered, it's pretty good. I'm writing this review because it seems that as of late the quality of service and products have gone DOWN HILL. I ordered $80 worth of pizza that took 2 hours to arrive and when it came it was all wrong and cold. I called the store and because they were busy I was told that I would be given a $20 credit on my account (just a fraction of what the total was) but because people were hungry and we'd waited so long I agreed. I went to the store the next time I ordered because you cant use a store credit online. I placed my order and spoke to the rep about my credit, she said there was no such credit on her computer. Fussed about that and luckily someone remembered the situation and the manager agreed to give me a $20 credit... Not $40 to make up for the one I was already missing and still not quite close to what I paid, but hey, I couldn't argue with them I just accepted it, but didn't use my credit that day because my order was not expensive at all. I go back there another time to use the credit because I planned to spend a lot. Asked the rep about my credit and was told the EXACT same thing, that there is no credit on the computer. Mind you this is the same lady that assured me the last time that she was the manager on duty and would be applying the credit herself, turned the screen to me and everything to prove it, well it wasn't there. I asked her if she remembered me going thru this before and she did NOT and all I could assume is, I am not the only one who is told they will get a credit, just to either get the rep off the phone or to get you out of the door, but they never actually give you the credit. If I were to have all the $20 and $25 credits I was offered over the last 4 months I'd have $75 worth of them, but unfortunately this location just tells you that you have one. They don't actually give you a credit and if you even think about arguing with them, they look like they...
Read moreTerrible experience. I understand being short on drivers but the app tracker said the pizza was made right away and then was in "quality check" for over half an hour before we called to check what was going on. The guy on the phone said the pizza wasnt going to be delivered for atleast another hour. He refused to make it right either. No offer to make a fresh pizza, offer a discount, nothing. They don't even call people to tell them they are short staffed. It was terrible customer service. He kept saying we need to come in for carry out if we want a fresh pizza (it wasnt even freshat that point if its been sitting for over half an hour), and when we expressed how dissatisfied we were with the fact that we'd get a pizza that had been sitting for an hour and a half he threatened to cancel the order. Finally he promised the pizza would be delivered by X time but then it never showed up. I will never order from here again. Like i said, I understand being short staffed, but there is a serious lack of customer service and zero lack of managing expectations with customers, ending in either food thats not fresh and super late, or apparently having your order canceled on you and zero offer to make it right. How is this location even still in business? And going beyond that, this is the companies fault if they are not properly training their staff, and not figuring out solutions so their staff can manage a heavy load or being short staffed (are they even being paid enough anyway??). Ive had problems with other domino locations in the past. The food isn't even that good but this was probably one of the worst experiences I've had with a business. I don't like posting bad reviews but seriously, in this case,...
