I placed an online order on 1/8/2020 and didnât realize until I returned back home that both my sandwiches were missing chips. The order was checked by an employee since their initials were on my receipt that was attached to the bag. Someone wasnât doing their job. I returned to this location yesterday 1/30/2020 to pick up some lunch for my son to take to him for school. I arrived at 10:37 am and they werenât busy, but all but 1 register was closed. A shift supervisor and the general manager were working, but still a couple ahead of me and myself waited at least 5 mins. before our orders were taken. Once I placed my order which was a cold sandwich and a smoothie, it took at least 25 mins. for them to get me my sandwich! In the meantime, the smoothie was made, but by the time I left, it was starting to melt. One of the employees apologized for my wait (he was working with a new employee), but really?!? Why not have more employees helping make the food? Once I arrived at my sonâs school, he had 2 minutes to eat his lunch since his lunch period was almost over! He told me once he returned home from school, that there was a hair in his sandwich! Gross! Service at this location has...
Read moreSeverely understaffed. You can tell itâs placing immense stress on the poor employees who are trying their best to keep up and keep customers happy. I waited 20 minutes tonight for a pretty simple take out order â 2 bowls of soup, a cookie, and drink.
Keeping customers happy is probably impossible anyway because food quality has gone down incredibly while prices continue to soar. I paid $25 tonight for a meal that was worse than hospital food.
I am convinced they are watering down not only the specialty drinks (my favorite used to be the passion papaya green tea but the last three times it seems Iâve paid $4 for water with green food coloring in it; the taste I loved is completely gone) â they are also watering down the soup. What used to be thick, cheesy, creamy, filling broccoli cheddar soup has now turned into runny vaguely flavored sadness.
I have been prompted by the bakery employee at every visit to order using the kiosk (register is almost always unstaffed) â but I am still prompted at checkout (while using the kiosk) to tip the staff???? Pay your employees a living wage and we wonât have to tip them. Pay your employees a living wage and youâll have more people working at your...
Read moreI eat at Panera once a week, and while travelling we ordered pickup from this restaurant. Really a horrible experience from start to finish. Online, we ordered 2 soups, bagel, spread and drinks. We arrived 10 minutes AFTER the time when it would be ready. It was not. There was much confusion, and after 10 more minutes, we finally got our food and were on our way. I understand this - not the worst issue. Once we got to our friends house with the food where we were visiting, we found the bagel and spread were missing! On top of this, the soup was so watery, it was inedible. I did complain via the website, and 2 days later got a an email from the manager asking us to stop by, and would offer us the next soups and bagel free. When I told her we were out of town, she then said to call anytime and ask for her, and she would do a refund. I called, and she asked another employee to take care of this, and after TEN MINUTES of a runaround, I was finally told he refunded me for the whole order. When I checked my Amex, I notice it was only partially refunded. I am sorry, but as much as I love Panera, I will NEVER frequent this...
