Well, I would say I do like chipotle, however do not buy there gift cards, you would assume it'd make a good gift, but your better off putting cash in an envelope and labeling it chipotle money. You cannot use more then one payment to order online, which means you either order under your gift card amount, or you pay with just your card, you cannot do both. Which in my case was more then my gift card, so I would have had to use my debit card to buy there food instead. I felt like I was getting punked.. So I decide to wait till the following day and just go get it. When I walked in instead of a line, there was about 10 people sitting spread out thru the restaurant. Yet no-one had food... Which I thought that was weird. Either way I walk up to the counter to order, it's a young girl and she tells me, were only taking online orders right now. So at this point I'm trying not to freak out on this girl, because even with going there, I STILL COULDNT EVEN GET FOOD, unless I sat there and I put my online order in while I'm at the restaurant! Yet the inside is open.. which now explains the other ten people, mind you this is the saddest looking chipotle I've ever seen. Everyone looks hungry tired it's very quiet. Just a overall sense of defeat. So while I'm there, I decide okay, I'll stand here and order online and I'll ask the cashier, can you combine these 2 25$ gift cards, so I can use them, for my one form of payment. Before I could even get the full sentence out she cuts me off and say NO SORRY I can't combine them. So now I'm brewing I'm looking at her thinking about how to open my mouth and speak words without exploding. Now just to make sure I wasnt crazy and that I heard her right, I say.. so let me get this straight, I can only order my chipotle online, with my one form of payment, even though I am standing in the open restaurant? Yes ma'am.. So there I was with my two gift cards totaling 25$ each, unable to combine them for a 50$ gift card to do the online order, because once again that's the only way you can get food at that point.. So I surrender chipotle you win. moral of the story, Tell grandma, aunts /uncles, Santa, whoever. NO GIFT CARDS. I've also decided that I'm going to have to apply for a job there, I'll work my first shift, hopefully there's an employee discount, I'll order my food, and then I'll quit, because that, that would be easier then everything else I tried. P.s to whom ever works at this chipotle, I'm willing to delete this review, and put at five stars, IF YOU COMBINE MY GIFT...
Read moreI had to take 2 days to calm down from my most recent experiences at this chipotle. My job is across the street and apart from Panera this is the healthiest alternative if I don’t bring lunch. I have been to this establishment twice this week and both times were awful. Earlier this week I went on my lunch break and ordered in person. No one knew or could give exact details on what was and wasn’t included in the quesadilla meal. And all the workers had serious attitudes when it came to customers of color. But bright smiles to palm colored folks. And I ignored it the first time just thought it was an off day. I genuinely dislike bringing race into it. But then on Thursday July 17th I ordered online. I got to this chipotle a little earlier than expected by like 2 minutes so I was expecting to wait. Went in with a smile on my face was instantly greeted with another nasty acting worker. With attitude she said to me, “what are you waiting on a mobile pick up order” which I didn’t think was towards me because she didn’t even look at me. Then she says, yeah you are you waiting for a pick up order” with a mug on her face. I say yes. She goes and immediately grabs it from the back and throws the bag in my hand without even looking me in the eye. Whilst a customer who was already there, and palm colored, she graciously looked in the eye and smiled, she says with the most polite tone “oh your order will be right up” Again I chose to ignore this and try to shake it off! But then I sat down to eat my quesadilla at work. Thank god I don’t just dig in and devour. I got 2 bites in and when I went to rip the 3rd piece off there was a big chunk of plastic in my quesadilla. Overall I’m so disappointed with customer service, the lack of a quality check to make sure there aren’t pieces of plastic in their meat. It also means they weren’t paying attention while making the order because the piece is too big not...
Read moreI frequented Chipotle and this location in particular for 20 years and stopped buying from the Brooklyn, OH store at Cascade Crossing a few months ago because the customer service and cleanliness had declined. Today, I returned to reassess the experience at this location. My order was scheduled for pick up at 6:20pm and I arrived at 6:20pm to pick up my order. At 7:00pm, after waiting for 40 minutes, I asked the slovenly cashier to speak to a manager. He unintelligibly mumbled a few words and went into the kitchen to call her out to the counter. When she walked out, I showed her that the 6:40pm and 7:00pm orders were being filled and mine had yet to be prepared. At that moment, she pulled her mask down and screamed excuses in my face while on camera. I directed her to pull up her mask immediately as she was potentially endangering the guests with her risky and reckless behavior. I also pointed out that if I were to place an order on the Chipotle App at that moment it offered a pick up time in 10 minutes. She agreed that this is misleading to customers as the establishment was nearly an hour behind on orders. I left without my food and called corporate. After an hour and a half of dealing with the situation corporate refunded my money and offered me a buy one get one deal. To sum it up, I was screamed at in front of 20 customers and all the guest’s health in the establishment have potentially been put at risk and I was offered 50% off my next meal. Insulting. This embarrassing business operation is more of a reflection of corporate greed and putting profits over people rather than supporting employees that are overworked and reasonably meeting their commitments...
