The plus of this location is that it is brand new and beautiful. I'll be happy when covid is over so I can WFH sometimes here. The service is so hit or miss. Sometimes service is fast and efficient. Most times it is so slow and my order gets messed up, however the staff is always apologetic and will correct it. I always order on the mobile app before I get there. The last few times (I go 2-3x a week), the line has been wrapped around the building so I've gone in to just grab my order so I can go. The wait in the drive thru has been up to 30 minutes. I live 5 minutes from here and they seem to be the only location near me that still has the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew (heaven in a cup) so I am patient when they are super busy. I think they need more training because the drinks are inconsistent in how they are made...(if you order syrup or sauce, they don't stir it. It's annoying because stirring it after the cold foam is added ruins the foam). I got an iced latte that was clearly made hot with a few ice cubes added... It was warm. Sometimes they rush and completely misread the order or for some reason their inventory isn't current... I've ordered things on the app, pay, it's confirmed then I get there and am told they are out (Madelines, bento boxes, Morning Buns, etc). The one consistent thing is that the baristas are always very nice. I worked as a barista through college many years ago... It can be overwhelming, but teamwork and attention to detail makes...
Read moreRude manager has power struggle issues. My buddy and I, two overweight, middle aged men, were parked in the far corner of the lot underneath a street lamp. We were discuss printing equipment after I gave him a car load of police flags I had made for local police departments. The manager came out and yelled at us that we had to leave because the store was closed. We were far enough from the store that he had to walk about 100 ft and yell 3 or 4 times before we even heard him. We were doing nothing but standing there so quite confused as to why he was forcing us to leave. Then he stood there glaring at us until we left. Two people, causing no issues, both former police officers, are apparently too scary for the hippie manager who looked like he just stepped out of a VW bus. There’s zero signage stating there’s no parking after hours or for customers only. Literally 100s of empty parking spaces, a 24 hour gas station 300 feet away and this guy is losing his mind over people standing there. Nothing says criminals like men wearing polos and khaki shorts driving a Forrester and a minivan with a MomLife sticker on it. Maybe lay off the espressos and try some tea and chill. Yet someone can go sit inside without purchase for 12 hours just to use the free WIFI. I’m sure he was a top notch hall monitor in...
Read morePerhaps the worst Starbucks in the state of Ohio or perhaps the Country. My complaint is definitely a first world problem and I get that, but still feel the need to warn you all about this Starbucks.
They never update the icons in their app telling you if the store is open inside or only drive through. I order everyday on the mobile app in hopes to walk in the store an walk out. Instead most of the time when I arrive I find a line around the building and the inside is closed forcing me to wait 20-25 minutes or forfeit the $6 I already prepaid on the app. The purpose of ordering ahead is for convenience and by forcing people to wait in line it’s totally defeats said purpose.
I understand, there are staffing shortages everywhere. However, reach out to corporate - tell them you need help. Only allow pre orders inside and allow people the choice to skip the horrendous line. Do something, be creative!
Additionally, the coffee is very hit or miss. Some days the coffee is great and other days I can hardly choke it down. Train people better! Consistency is key in customer service. I understand Starbucks won’t read this nor will they care they are losing a daily customer - but be warned about...
