My family and I just got back from traveling through multiple states after a funeral. We decided to stop and get food. Unfortunately all my 4 year old daughter will eat when we eat out is McDonald's happy meal no fries. This particular location is the first McDonald's we stopped at (after going to multiple along the way during the past few days) that made not wanting fries a difficult thing. The girl had an attitude when I told her my daught do not eat fries. She said "you don't eat fries?" I said I am an grown woman I am ordering this for a child. She paused and said welllll we only have fries. I said okay. She said well is your order on the screen correct. I said no. She said wait did you just say no. I said yes, no fries. All of a sudden either the female got really obnoxious or another female got on with an nastier attitude saying well this McDonald's location is not giving out apples or yogurt due to Corona so you have to take the fries in the place of it or nothing at all. At this point I am like wow they really force people to take fries. My daughter is allergic to potatoes/starch. I could have volunteered that I formation but as I stated we had been to multiple locations and none of them made it complicated. They accommodated by adding in two nuggets or charging just for a fry and toy etc... This location was literally forcing me to take the fries. I don't understand this. This went on for a few minutes and I finally just said that's ok thank you after the second rude lady got on. I should not have to take something that my child can not have. We went up the street to another McDonald's and they happily accommodated and appoligised on this location behalf. How hard is it to take fries out of the happy meal box? After all I am paying for...
Read moreI've lived in this area for just about 10 years now, and for most of that time this location was my go to. The food was always hot and my order was correct and the staff was friendly but professional. Now I get it, its McDonald's, I've worked in fine dining and fast food and I don't expect perfection or utter professionalism when visiting. But after today, sadly my family won't be coming to this location anymore. Over the last few months things have seemed to be going downhill somewhat but today we were greeted at the drive thru menu with "yo" then proceeded to be short and acted as if his job was an inconvenience. Then as we pulled up to the second window we were asked if we had ordered the frappuccino, we said no and the girl at the window followed with "you're joking with me" we said no and she proceeded to tell us how we were about to "get her so mad" if we kept messing with her. Then when we got home to eat we realized they forgot items we had ordered. Now again, I don't expect Chic Fil A service when I visit a McDonalds, but some type of professionalism should be had. It's still a job that provides a service to the public, I've worked in the food industry and can tell you, even on bad days you have to do what you are being paid to do. Even more disappointing is it was adults and not...
Read moreTried staying away from this location until yesterday gave it another try. First of all there was no cars in line at drive thru and I sat waiting like 3 minutes at the speaker before my order was taken. I asked for McFlurry, was told no ice cream. I said ok let me have a caramel frappe, he said we don’t have that either. Annoyed, I placed my order and when I got to the window I sat there for another minute while he opened and took payment. Once I pulled up to the 2nd window I asked a girl “why don’t you guys ever have ice cream? It’s hot outside” and she was so confused she said “im not sure what you mean we definitely have ice cream and frappes” so the person taking orders just lied. She asked if I would like to add ice cream and frappe and I said yes please. As she was taking my order one of the managers told her I had to drive back around and place order for additional items? I don’t understand if it were up to me I would’ve ordered when I first placed my order it wasn’t my fault I got lied to. I feel like they could’ve took my order and then asked me to park so I wouldn’t hold up the line. But that did not happen. Very...
