OMG! I found my place. I came because I wanted to learn and boy did I. Peggy and Chris are so welcoming and knowledgeable and down to earth. No BS here. Everyone was so nice and it felt like a great group of people, so willing to help and share. My first day and first lesson I learned so much. The store is comfortable and there is just so much to see. I loved the yarn and notions. It is inspiring. I can't wait to go back and learn more and create. This is The Place! -- Joey S. A.

So after coming to the shop weekly for quite a while now, I continue to be impressed with Chris's encyclopedic knowledge of all things fibers and yarns. She is extremely patient with all her customers helping them to make the most appropriate choice for whatever they are making. Everytime I walk in I have to first look around and see what's new. There is probably every type of yarn and notion possible here. All kinds of wool, cotton, blends, linen, bamboo, silk, cashmere, Alpaca, even soy. There are buttons, hooks, needles, embroidery thread and more to suit whatever your needs. I love looking around at all the gorgeous yarn just waiting to be knit or crocheted into something amazing. If you have any problem or questions or are unhappy with a project you are working on, just let Chris look at it. She will come up with something creative and unique that will surprise and delight. I’m a new knitter, when I arrived at the Pan-banged Knit and Fiber Shoppe I was in awe.. with the warm greeting I received by both owners. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming with cozy couches for us to relax while we knit. It is a one stop shopping experience with an array of needles, notions, and the yarn selection is both affordable and luxurious. I took a few informative classes with my instructor and she is a great listener, and very patient. She also took the time to teach me all about the different needle options available there at the shop. This place is so friendly! I have been several times and each time, Miss Chrissy and Miss Peggy are so sweet. This last time I picked up a new interchangeable needle set and this fun Fat Bottom Bag. The service at the store is perfect - I called ahead and she pulled the bag back for me as I was headed up from Port Richey. Miss Peggy even help me decipher a vague pattern repeat section for the sweater I was making. I have been to one of their Thursday night gatherings and they are all so sweet, making me feel welcome.
