Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Brownsville

So I've never tried this place before but I've always wanted to and today was that day. I got the number 9 which is the bacon 3 cheese steak. It comes with bacon, swiss, provolone, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, pickles, and mayo. I added an order or original fries. The fries alone are nothing to brag about just regular potatoe cut fries fries to perfection as in soft on the inside and a little crunch in the outside with a little salt added. Now on to the cue de gra the Mona lisa the 16th Chapple the sandwich itself... now the veggies were super fresh the lettuce was still crisp, the tomatoes were a bright and juicy red also crisp, the pickles were amazing they are crinkled slice with a snap to them, the blend of cheese was perfect and melted to perfection. The steak was cooked to perfection not dry yet cooked fully and so soft like melt in your mouth and juicy. The bread omg the bread soft like a cloud and yet even with all that piled into it it held together very flavorful. The steak and cheese and veggies were piled on they didn't skimp on anything. I paid 12.44 for this perfection thats for the sub and fries no drink. But in my opinion very worth it and I will definitely be...

Ordered through Door Dash, had great experience with them food was hot, fresh courteous. However, I ordered the Ultimate Club, oh man where to begin, scheduled the food to be cooked at off time around 3pm, figuring extra care on order not busy time. Boy was I wrong. The sandwich had plenty of meats, but it was heated too long, very dry, and brown edges. Like it was put on the grill too long and forgot about it, then added too much cheddar cheese, looked to cover up the dried meat. Tasted like a bad cheddar melt with bacon. Asked for extra mayonnaise, but apparently it cost extra or something. Looked as if the spatula didn't even make contact on the wet soggy bread from the sweat off the heated meats. French fries were hot, however they were only cooked past the thawing stage. Limpy, no color, no flavor. just kind of mushy. 1•13•25 we came back and again as usual on par very consistent with the food and portions highly recomend it here if your craving a good philly steak sammich this is the place very good and hot freshly made. I don't come very often but when I come by I enjoy every bite. Thank you staff very good sammich.

Even tho i hadn't come for some time, it is still consistent with the portion and delish food. Loved my meal thx staff. Never cease to fail. Always on par with my expectations.
