IHOP — Restaurant in Brownsville

Waitress at IHOP by Sunrise mall was terrible. The waitress only took orders after 30 minutes due to waitress social gatherings with friends. We asked for service another waitress took order. But, the waitress assigned to our table brought half our orders. We ordered pancakes and didn't get ours because the waitress said the cook in the kitchen only does one item at a time. That was the reason we only got oily greasy eggs first. Pancakes were given to us after another 20 minutes after we got our eggs and bacon. The toast was also on it's way because the waitress said the cook does the toast after the pancakes. WOW.. I never had my orders served by 15-20 minutes apart. Hum.. guessing the manager is not sure how to run this IHOP apparently the waitresses do their own thing. Never saw a Manager out checking on the services and orders. You could hear the cooks in the back yelling out to the waitresses that orders were ready and not picked-up. How sad. I can already see that restaurant closing due to bad management. I don't blame the waitresses it's not their fault the manager isn't doing the job they're hired to do. No longer an IHOP customer. Going to Denny's instead They have good management...

This was definitely a first for me at IHOP. I was extremely disappointed with the whole service. Food was okay, not extravagant. Now, the service was by far the most disappointing of all.

As we entered there was absolutely no host. We were the first to walk in and there were 4 other families that entered behind us. We were seated first and the last person to be seated was waited on before us. Mind you, I went with my elderly mother and father. They were hungry and anxious for their coffee. Someone else was seated after her and even she was waited on before us. At that point we were upset and as the manager is walking around and asking the guest before us if they were okay. I guess SOMEONE finally noticed us and our frustration and asked if we were okay. He finally took our order and our waitress finally appeared! Sad to say he still managed to get my order wrong.

This will be a last for me at IHOP!! They seemed to be short staffed and waitresses all seemed to be walking in late. So if you're looking for an early breakfast look elsewhere. They might make you wait a while or simply ignore you!

Went on Christmas night (Monday) for a quick bite to eat. we signed in and were told to wait while they got a table for us. we were told that they were out of fries, eggs, hot chocolate, and a list of other stuff. No sweat. while we were waiting I saw some people drive up, get out of a car, walk in and get escorted to a table. same size group as us. I asked the manager about it and he became very aggressive and pissy, like how dare I question him. His tone was very unprofessional and ugly. I told not to worry and we left. We eat here quite a bit, but not anymore. This IHOP has gone down hill in food and customer service. Saturday night before Christmas eve, we went food was ok, but they were out of pickles and a few other stuff also. The supply chain argument is no longer valid. this is a sign that they don't care. and now neither do I. I will be taking my money and my crew else where. Sorry IHOP you lost customers. Denny's...
