Ok...1st off i love the start of the day with a good breakfast recommended by locals, but I have to say the service was outstanding, in explaining and being very attended by, Furthermore, the food really could be alot more well served and, to state FACTS not exactly how CHILLAQUILLES are suppose to be served we had the chicken and the rib eye chillaquilles to be prompt..so if anyone comes across this review just be warned, the food looks like your local frecitta ( OH SEYA..WEI NO COSINO)..could put together especially, with no EGG on the chillaquilles like REALLY...(to be charged extra just for adding 2 eggs )and, the RIB EYE CHUNCKS looked as if they were cut with a razor blade as if the chef had bought it out of his own pocket, shame, shade, be thrown, but call what you want, although, the drinx flight was good and the Cafe de jolla 🔥 but for 70 dlrs total spent I'll just go to RICARDOS to eat some real chillaquilles which blows this restaurant out the park nonetheless, just a review to improve but, if offense is taken oh well, I sleep good at night still..but make my money and time...
Read moreI had breakfast for the first time at this restaurant and had a very unpleasant experience to say the least. The atmosphere is nice and clean but that is many the best part of my experience, if any. I asked for a Mexican Chocolate, and it took about 25minutes to come out to our table and had to ask and/or remind waiter 2-3 times. Our food was at room temperature. And, when we asked for "Regular" Butter, the response by our waiter was "there is none". Then, after being told the restaurant had some the last time you came by then the waiter said, "let me check" and minutes later returns with "Regular" Butter. There was hardly any followup from our waiter and when asked for anything we needed it seemed as if he was bothered. Towards the back you could see mutiple waiters and waitresses talking among themselves and/or on their cell phones. The restaurant was not packed, as there were many empty tables. How would they feel if the roles were reversed?? I don't think they would be satisfied with the service provided or...
Read moreFood was excellent! We loved all our dishes! Chicken and Waffles were on point. Menu is the usual brunch but what makes Roosters different is that the food is seasoned well, you can tell that they pay attention to minor details to make themselves stand out. For example, the potatoes in the Roosters Rancheros were seasoned exceptionally well, and not like your typical Mexican restaurant plate. Chicken from the Chicken and Waffles was fried really well and served up with a great sauce. The waffle was fluffy and exceptional as well!
Chilaquiles Divorciados was 100% on the mark. Great flavor and taste. Presentation on all dishes was above and beyond.
Service was a bit long but it was to be expected on the 2nd day! I’m sure it will get better as they find their groove.
My lowest rating goes to atmosphere. It’s very loud because there’s nothing on the walls to absorb sound and its hard to have conversation and order food because you have to raise your voice. I love the...
