I ordered about 7 family meals that feeds about 8-9 people for my employees. We get to the location where we’re about to serve the plates and notice that they did not put any serving utensils. We were not at a location where we had a kitchen. I decide to call Rudy’s to let them know . I ask for the manager and she informs me that they don’t provide serving utensils for family meals that I should’ve requested them. When I got to Rudy’s we notice one of the ladies wasn’t helping put the order in. I inform the manager about that and she tells me that was me and goes on to tell me that she didn’t know where I wanted it. I inform her that she could’ve asked. The reason for my review is not the food but the customer service that we received. Companies need to understand that we will spend our hard earned money where they will provide great customer service. Someone needs to give feedback to the manager about customer service. I sure ain’t going back to Rudy’s. Disappointed customer! She also wasn’t empathetic about my situation. It was more like too bad and I did tell her you’re selling a family meal don’t you think it would be a good idea to provide that? She still...

Wow, what a wonderful first experience at Rudy’s. Thankfully I had Nichole behind the register. She very politely asked if I had been their before. I hadn’t and she cheerfully explained their system of cold sides, hot sides and meats by weight. I asked her what Rudy’s is known for and she quickly said brisket and turkey. I told her that sounded fine and she quickly offered me a small sample of each. Yes, they were both very good. Nichole then explained the hot sides and when I asked about the cream corn she again offered me a small sample. I travel a lot and Nichole is a standout at being an excellent server.

Yes, I got all three items Nichole sampled me plus a peach cobbler for desert. As I was paying for my meal I asked her how long she’s been working at Rudy’s. I was even more impressed when she said 8 days. What a wonderful find Rudy’s has with Nichole. I hope they keep her by treating her well and keep her dealing with the public. She’s a natural at making wonderful first impressions.

The meat was so good it didn’t really need either of the bbq sauces Rudy’s has in the table. Yes, of course I’ll be back at Rudy’s. Keep up...

Don't eat here. We were extremely disappointed on our overpriced and flavorless food. Everything was extremely dry and with a starter and charcoal taste, I had asked for baby back ribs and got pork ribs. The meat itself has no special or distinct taste, everything tasted the same, ribs, brisket and sausage tasted the same like charcoal and starter. On top of that, the food was pretty cold, I was there right on time to pick it up and no wonder it's cold if they hand it out covered in paper. I guess it's a good way to save costs at the expense of giving customers cold food, you should really get takeout containers. I think it's pretty telling how you get sauces on cups instead of the food being covered in the sauce. Overall, first and last time getting food here, I went based on the reviews but I don't understand how people can enjoy this food. Maybe some of the other items are decent but at 35 bucks for 3 dry, sauce less ribs, 4 slices of dry, tasteless brisket and half a sausage cut in half, won't take a chance...

Some of the best BBQ in Texas. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The meat was very juicy. It made my mouth very moist with all the delicate flavors and juices. The table unfortunately didn't have paper towels, although they let you take as many napkins as you wanted without getting upset with you and charging you money. The best part of this wonderful experience was the fact that you get free bread with your table. When you ask for the bread they say its free unless you want a whole loaf. In response we ordered a loaf minus one slice. Epic life hack. I hope you'll consider trying out this tip when you eventually try my new favorite restaurant out for yourself. How do I know you'll visit Rudy's? Because my review is so epic and moist. Enjoy the Rudy's BBQ experience! (Attached at the bottom is proof of the bread experience)

Extremely neat place. This was my first time coming here and if you tell the cashier that it is your first time they will allow you to sample the meats. They are famous for there Brisket and Turkey they are both really good. They recommend buying there meat by the 1/2lb and choose your sides. They put all of your food in a Coke crate and find you a place to sit on picnic benches the rest is self service. They have a store that sells there seasonings and sauces but also have things like bottled drinks beer Fountain drinks decent size selection of candy and snacks and of course gas. It's a pretty cool place to visit with good food and friendly staff. One thing i found by looking through the other reviews is price. The prices food wise is very similar to any other BBQ restaurant.
