Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Brunswick

We ordered milkshakes at the same time we place our food order in the Hope's they would come out at the same time. We received our food maybe 10/15 minutes later but no shakes. Our server said they should be right up. We finished our meals and still no shakes so we asked again. She said she would go check and gave us our bill. She came back and said they are making them now. Ok cool, we asked for them to go though since we were done eating. She left. Didnt see her again and waited at least 10 minutes for the shakes they were supposedly "making right now" I finally got so agitated as I had my 2 year old with me who was whiney and ready to go. I spoke to a different server behind the counter since mine was missing. She said she would check and went back to the shake area, they didnt even know we were waiting on shakes!!!! She asked what we had and I told her and requested them to go. They made them for here and as she was walking up she said oh yes you wanted this to go and just dumped them into Togo cups. We asked to speak to a manager and she didnt seem the least bit concerned at all that her customers waited 40 minutes for milkshakes, yes we counted! She did offer us $10 in coupons but never apologized or said she would work with her employees to prevent it from happening again. This was the Brunswick store. On Saturday night on way home from Cavs game about 1130. Took forever to get seated even though it wasn't busy. used restroom while waiting and restroom was disgusting. Finally got seated and took quite awhile before a disinterested teen boy came and took our order. Got our drink orders wrong. Took forever for the food to come out and all of our orders were wrong but we just decided to go with it. The chili looked like vomit. I asked the server to bring me another one which didn't look much better. I refused to eat it. Also after the food came I hadn't yet received my shake so I reminded him I ordered a chocolate shake. He brought me a warm chocolate peanut butter shake. I had others at my table sample it, all agreed it was disgusting. The floor was extremely filthy and strewn with napkins straws cups etc. My girlfriend took pictures of the floor. The servers were 1 boy and 2 girls that looked no older than 15. The boy and two girls started arguing with each other very loudly in front of the customers. I would have complained but there was not an adult employee to complain to. I really would like to know what kind of business leaves teenagers to fend for themselves on a Saturday night. This was a very bad experience. I won't go back to steak n shake. I...

Lousy slooooooooow service. Stopped by there twice on my way back from Cleveland on two different occasions. After being asked to wait a second at the drive thru, which became 5 minutes worth of "I'll be with you in a sec" after getting frustrated and with no response for about 30 seconds after asking if anyone was still there, I was finally able to order a burger and fries. After a grand total of around ten minutes I was on my way, without the ketchup I asked for when handing the fella my money. Did I mention I was the only car in the drive thru the WHOLE time with only two other cars in the customer parking lot?? No, I'm not embellishing or being sarcastic. Thinking maybe it was a fluke and apparently after not learning my lesson the first time I stopped a few weeks later, this time 2 or 3 cars were ahead of me, sat in line for the customary 5 minutes before getting to place my order and was told there would be a 7 minute wait on my burger. SEE YA, I'm outta here!!! Love Steak 'n Shake burgers but will never waste my time at the Brunswick, Ohio location again.
