KFC — Restaurant in Buckeye

This is going to be kind of long… I’m very sorry… Going to this location is awful. Unfortunately it’s the closest to where I live and I have always loved KFC. It’s a great memory of my grandmother because it was her favorite and at least twice a month we’d go have lunch there up until the day she passed away.

This location is horrible!!! On MANY occasions of at least a dozen occasions I have had issues. They close early, not just 10/15 minutes early but an hour is so early. They always say they never have chicken and they’re only serving drinks “for now”. I just went there today October 3rd, 2023. I tried ordering an extra crispy breast, thigh and leg for my children and I to share. I was also getting macaroni and cheese.

First they said okay. Then came back in the drive thru speaker and said they don’t have the chicken and it’s be a 20 minute wait. I said okay that’s fine. She was very rude and said “I said we don’t have the chicken”. I said ya I know I don’t mind waiting 20 minutes. Then she said “okay well can you wait in the lobby because we forget some people orders if they’re waiting in the parking lot long term”. I said well I have kids in my truck so can I wait in the parking lot for 15 minutes and then come inside for the last 5 minutes? She said “Ya okay”. Then as I’m finishing up my order she said “ahold on just a minute let me check something”. I said okay. She came back on and said “It’s actually going to be about 35 to 40 minutes for the chicken because you want extra crispy and we need you in the lobby”…

After that and after experiencing her attitude and talking to me like I wasn’t good enough or like I was lower than her. I just said “That’s okay don’t worry about it we’ll go somewhere else thank you” she said “Ya Okay”.

I have had multiple bad experiences at this location, the only reason I kept trying to give them a chance is because it’s close to my house and I like KFC. To go to a different location I will have to drive about 20/25 minutes roughly.

The embarrassing thing about it was I started crying when I left. I wasn’t crying because God forbid they didn’t have my chicken but the way the two girls were talking to me. I’m normally not like that but how they were talking to me just got to me.

This place need new management and new workers. Maybe people that take pride in their jobs. I worked fast food for so long to support my kids and considering they make A LOT more now than I did then, they should really take more pride in what they do. Or at least be nice and fake it so their customers don’t feel that.

Hoping y’all change!!! And whatever is going on in your life that you feel you have to have an attitude towards someone you don’t know, I pray God blesses you in ways you can’t imagine. The food is great but the workers needs to pay more attention when taking orders. Is the second time and second week that they are not paying attention.

Last week I place a order of the 12pc meal and i asked for my chicken to be in original and with the side order of 2 mashed potatoes and 1 macaroni and cheese. And the guy to took my order said that the chicken was going to take 30 minutes to cook and I told him that I do not like crispy and that I will wait for my order and he said okay. So I drive up the window and pay my order and I asked him, do you want me to park to the side since my order is going to take long? And he looked lost and said that it will take 2-3 minutes and that I do not need to wait. So then I asked him why did he first told me it was going to take 30 minutes? And he looked lost and he apologized and gave me my card back after paying. And then he gave me a order and I was about to leave but his worker told him that was not my order and that it was for the person who ordered inside. So I gave him back the bag of food and then waited for him to give me my order. After I received it I drove home and I live 20 minutes away and got home to see that my side orders was wrong. They gave me 1 mashed potatoes and 1 macaroni and cheese and gave me 1 cole slaw. I got very disappointed, and I didn't want to drive back to let them know. So I forgived them because I understand people makes mistakes.

But I went again today and this time was another guy and he took my order wrong again. I ordered the same thing that was a original12pc meal with 2 mashed potatoes and 1 macaroni and cheese, hoping that this time they took my order right since it was a different guy. But nope I was wrong because they gave me the chicken crispy. Oh my gosh, that really upset me to see that they are not paying attention to what I ordered.

can you guys please let the workers know their mistakes of not paying attention and to at least repeat the order that way we don't get wrong again. Because I feel that repeating the order will definitely help out on making sure that the order...

This location is a complete disappointment and waste of what could be a very successful location, the traffic is there! But don’t even waste the time to stop here it is ALWAYS!!! & I do mean always a nasty disaster. If they don’t try to claim their somehow out of anything your wanting to get, also do not believe the closing hours because that’s been a issue every time as well, I’ve showed up multiple times a hour and even 30 mins to close, I don’t go places last min because I know the food won’t be so good plus I don’t want to be that “person “ but regardless if they say open until that time they should be serving until then but nope everyone their “out” of everything.. it’s frozen chicken just fry it. Nothing there is impossible to make quickly and be made good. But no. They do not care, the employees are rude and rushy, ordering after everything i say it’s “ ANYTHING ELES? “ in a ugly nasty sounding tone to top it all off. So after you’ve been barked at, made to cioose rhrough the limited items they claim they only have, you will be disappointed and probably disgusted by the atrocity of a “meal” they have given you.

Do not edge your time. I wish this place would revamp the entire location, FIRE all the lazy incompetent employees there and hire people who will actually enjoy having a job and enjoy making food they way they would want to eat or serve it to their families. I’ve seen really good KFCs and when the food that’s very easy to make and make with respect to the customer, it’s delicious. But not here, I hope the owner seems how Poor the rating is here and this comment and all others and make a change! Please! This location could be so much better!!! Please, fix this. This is a disrespect to our community, truly.
