Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Buckeye

So sad. My mother is in stage 4 of her cancer battle. We have been enjoying coffee and lunch dates during the week while she is well enough now and thought we could possibly make this place our "go to" spot for coffee. We will unfortunately not be back. Dakota seemed extremely rude or agitated before we even ordered and scolded us for standing behind only one person in line and apparently we were on the other side of him and she said "You guys need to move over to the other side, that's not where you stand in line to order move over" there was no line, it was one person and nobody behind us and he was actually done ordering 🤦🏼‍♀️ After we received our coffee and sat and chatted, my mother asked for a cup of water after we were done. Dakota scolded her and said "if you wanted water you should have ordered it with your coffee" my mother was shocked and said she didn't realize she wanted any until she finished her coffee and said sorry I didn't know I needed any, I'll pay for it but the water was slammed down on the counter with a nasty look. Ok that's disgusting behavior. Who the heck talk's to people like that? In no way were we rude or deserved to be talked to like we're dumb idiots or something. Dakota doesn't seem to like her job, and her manager that I called was apologetic but ended up saying "well she's just like that" ya probably because she's being allowed to treat people that way because nothing gets done about it! We will be finding a new spot, I'm sad that we don't deserve at the very least...

So I went in today to order and this young lady Dakota took my order and she must have been irritated already because when taking my order she was flustered and asked me three times if that was all and I was asking my brother for his order and I heard her but didn’t say anything because she was rolling her eyes upset because they were doing inventory or cleaning and I must have interrupted them. When she charged me for my drink I told her I was going to do card and when I was pulling my card out she said are you going to put it in? And I told her I’m doing that right now. There was no need for the passive aggressiveness. I understand it can be frustrating when you are doing other things before close but I wasn’t rude or anything for you to take it out on me. You’re better off driving to the location at Verrado. Occasionally I’ll stop at this location in Frys and usually get great service. I also understand businesses are short staffed and there is a supply shortage everywhere for many items. I stopped in on Saturday morning and the girl working Starbucks, taking the orders, just seemed so miserable. She had me wait at the counter while she finished texting, this is just terrible service. She rambled off many items they are out of (totally can appreciate that) but still seemed bothered that I wanted to proceed with my order.
