I had brought my truck to Walmart to have 2 new tires on. It was labor day weekend and everyone, I mean EVERYONE, had decided to go to Walmart in an attempt to see if they were less crowded than the other tire stores in our town, as I did as well. So I decided to walk myself over to my old favorite, Taco Bell. Now, mind you I was a little wary and skeptical the day crew would be able to handle my presence for any length of time. I had visions of prior visits that occurred during the day shift and the quality of service, attention, professionalism and friendliness was so lacking I almost decided to walk in the heat to a place farther because I just didn't want to deal with the asinine immature, uncaring children that had made up Taco Bell's preschool. But I was tired and I decided to explain to Victor I was getting tires changed and I would be hanging out for maybe 4-5 hours and asked if they were ok with that. They were extremely friendly, pleasant, attentive and helpful. They came over and checked on me more than 2 occasions and even brought a couple of tacos they had made that no one wanted. Victor and Ambresia made sure I had whatever I needed. They had even made sure I had a table by a Power outlet so I could plug in my phone charger. And they ensured no one took my table when I had to utilize the facilities. I was so impressed by the actions and behaviors of 3 people I asked to speak with the shift manager, Theresa. I just wanted her to know the young man and girl she had working the register/lobby were absolutely fantastic. I told Theresa, that most people would not attribute working at Taco Bell as a position where they had opportunity to affect someone and help change their entire view on life and make a difference . But as I shared a little bit of what I was going through personally, she understood and agreed. You never know what is going on in someone's life at home and a little kindness, a little compassion and maybe just a sprinkle of hope and love can go very very far and make the world of difference to the person who is enduring such pain.
My husband and I have been going to this Taco Bell for about 12 years. And each time it's on the night shift. And with out fail, there is at least one thing wrong. It never fails. You would think I would find another place to eat. But nope. It absolutely never fails; they remember how we order and they know how to put it together but they only recently started making it correctly. And it never once aggravated us. Nor did we insist on anything fancy or crazy, in place of or to make up for the screw up. The fact that over the years, through many, many young people who have come and gone, one thing remains the same: They are all friendly, kind, caring, compassionate and supportive of each other and their customers. They get to know their customers by name and what they order. A true testament to not only the hiring practices of that franchise, but to quality found and nurtured. It may be rusty, but it is found in the basic building blocks of every person who works there. One other quick note regarding the young people they have hired over the years. We have been fond of each and every one of them and whether they have stayed for a while or their tenure very brief, we have sincerely enjoyed frequenting the restaurant while they are working there. And we wish them all the best. This Taco Bell has been more like a small town "greasy spoon" where you go every day and meet the same people and you laugh, cry, get mad and any other emotion you can imagine. I will miss going every day very very much but if those who have come before not only keep those qualities but nurture them and cultivate and expand on them then there is nothing that they cannot do. Definitely worth stopping in and saying hi BTW: the day and night shifts keep the restaurant, bathroom and fountain Areas are kept incredibly clean and they always try to keep the condiment and napkins stocked for any occasion. And I almost completely forgot to mention the food was hot,...
Read moreWorst. Taco Bell. Ever. I came in tonight to order dinner for my family. I was greeted by a disinterested cashier named Alyssa. She had attitude the entire time taking my order and without shock got my order wrong. When I approached an employee that gave me my order that some of it was wrong she was nice and made it right. Alyssa on the other handed decided it would be a good idea to banter back and forth with me that I was wrong and she was right and I ordered the wrong thing. I have been in the customer industry (serving, manager, ECT) and you NEVER argue with a customer and tell them they are wrong with a dining room full of customers to hear. As the rest of my order is being made/fixed I watch Alyssa walk over to the line they were cooking food and I hear her bad mouthing me and telling another co-worker and a manager what happened. I was completely astonished that she had the nerve to bad mouth me to a manager as a manager engaged while I'm standing there witnessing it all. Alyssa than proceeds to toss me my food with a huge attitude, when I asked her to speak to a manager she walked away and got the one that she was bad mouthing me with. When the manager approached me I asked to talk to another manager and she started arguing with me saying they were busy and that she was the only one who could help me, I proceeded to tell her that I would wait. So the manager angerly walks to the back with attitude throwing her hands up bad mouthing me once again to another manager. A young gentle who claims to be the assistant manager listens to my issue and just doesn't seem to care. I told him that I was going to call corporate because I felt so disrespected and he said it didn't matter cause it all comes back to him anyways. At that point I see the general manager who was the nicest lady and the only reason I will be returning to this location. I come to this taco Bell very often normally during the day. The crew they have during the day is incredible. They are polite, and have great customer service. Alyssa you definitely need some training on the customer service aspect. You are rude and lucky I didn't slap you behind...
Read moreThis is my last time I EVER visit this establishment. Every time I have ordered food they have always managed not to disappoint me in screwing up my order. Lets start off with the ordering at the drive thru, after trying to order a strawberry Frutista I went through three different flavors due to them stating they didn't have it. I decided to just get 2 rootbeer's and continue on with my order. Once I drove to pay for it I was advised they didn't have enough potatoes to complete my order of 2 fiesta potatoes so I was only going to receive 1. So I ordered a taco since they did not have enough to complete my order.Keep in mind I went there at 8:55 pm. They handed me my first rootbeer which I handed back and asked them to fill it as they only filled it half way. They handed it back along with my second one. I get home and give the sodas to my spouse and right away I noticed the cup was not full, when I opened it it was half full also. I paid for sourcream and was charged and did not have it on my enchirito. They put sauce on it with 5 strands of cheese, the taco had about 3 strands of cheese. I was so frustrated I called and asked to speak with a manager as the employee tells me to hold on she yells to the manager you have an angry customer on the phone. As i proceeded to tell her the issues she advises me that maybe there is something wrong with the soda machine. I asked her does the soda machine automatically put the lids on the sodas now? She responds with no they don't so I said your employee was aware it was only half full since I had to tell her to fill the first one. My bad I should have checked the second one but I figured they could not make the same mistake back to back. Needless to say she wanted me to return back so they could fix the problem but it was not worth my gas to waste a second trip on a bunch of incompetent individuals who take absolutely no pride in their job. My suggestion to anyone who visits this place needs to make sure they check their order prior to leaving. It is a shame people don't have good work ethics and take pride in the...
