Whoever is working New Year’s Eve is just flat out awfully rude and needs to do better. I have very calm demeanor (high pitch girl voice if you will) when ordering food and all I received back was constant attitude. All I had done apparently to cause this instant attitude of not know what the number is for the chicken nugget meal when I said to my husband who was telling me what to order the kids “I don’t see it on there” the order taker interrupted us and said “what are you looking for” sounded a little irritated but I was like “sorry I couldn’t find it but I just did, can I get the #15 meal” and I said with regular fries and a Dr Pepper. The instant attitude was when I answered the order takers question of asking for the size to just be whatever the normal size it comes with was fine. And instead I was yelled at with “WHAT SIIIIZZZZEEE” — I looked at my husband just completely shocked and said “just whatever is the normal medium or the small don’t matter to me” Order taker said “is that all?”…. And I said yes think you and drove up
When I drove up to the window, I voiced my concern of whoever took my order it was very disrespectful to speak to people the way they were and it upset me that they could be that way 30 minutes into the new year especially to someone who was not giving attitude back. In a very condescending tone I was responded back with “oh it did? Okay cool. Is that all?” I said I’m just trying to voice my concern of whoever took the order as I was being very nice ordering and just wanted y’all to understand it’s not okay to talk to people that way when ordering. Instead he became combative “well I’m not the one who took your order” and would not take the feedback. During expressing my concerns I told him I honestly didn’t care whether it had been a small or a medium as I just wanted to get my kids some food and we don’t normally order here but that’s all … it’s my fault clearly for assuming all restaurants just had a standard meal size. He said “well I’m telling you I work here and we don’t, is that all?” And he just continued to stare at me as if I was stupid or he just didn’t care. Very condescending and rude behavior for someone’s who’s being spoken to in a calm demeanor while trying to do smooth ordering.. and eventually he shut the window in my face after I told him I just wanted them to know it wasn’t okay that’s it. Whoever is managing this place I hope this a sign for better customer service training as the way I was spoken to I hope my little kids never have to experience or witness that in a drive thru with me again when I’m just trynna get them some nuggies on the drive home from a New Year’s party with family. It’s not like I was a drunk teenager who couldn’t get her order together, I was just trying to find the number to make sure I was ordering right and it completely went sideways. When we finaally got to the place we could take our order, we placed a large order, and when we finally got up to the first window, the order take repeated our order to make sure everything was correct, which it was. We received food and left. We drove almost all the way home before we realized that one of our meals was not given to us. How could we be missing a meal when our order was REPEATED to us?? We had to drive alllll the way back to a really long and slow line again because the inside of the store was not open. We kept trying to call their store phone to let them know what happened and to possibly receive quick help for their mistake without having to wait, to which the phone was NEVER answered, so again.... We had to stay and wait in the long line again. Whats the point in having store phones if they arent being answered? Once we came back the order taker imm knew that we were there before and remembered the order and how much everything costs, which is another proof that we were there and he got the manager for us. When we explained what happened, the manager was super rude and didnt even apologize for anything that happened(the missing food, and not answering their phones making us have to wait for a very long time) or offered ANY type of compensation or accomadated us for all that happened. He was very cold in how he treated us. I was appalled because as a person that's worked in the food industry, in the past, we NEVER treated our customers that way when a mistake was made on the stores behalf. Read moreI don't get by Jack and his Box much anymore. Tonight reminded me why. This time and the last two times I thought, it's 9:00 pm. I have a ton of things to do when I get home. So, I passed up the brand new Burger King right across the street, because I was thinking how much I would love to have their egg rolls and tacos again. Plus, I had my small dog with me and I figured he would like a burger w/ cheese and bacon. I only saw monster tacos on the board, so I changed my mind to the fajita pita. My order was: 3 egg rolls, a potato burger with no fixings, a fajita pita and Yay...they had the original tacos. I had to explain to a female voice about how for now, their board said regular tacos, so I said yes! give me those also. I drive up to the window, a guy starts giving me a bag, and I told him I would like 2 sweet and sours for the egg rolls. I thought he looked at me funny. I saw why once I started pulling things out of the bag. I pull out the greasier than I ever remember tacos, the burger, the pita and looked for the egg rolls I really wanted. Too bad lady. We didn't put no egg rolls in there, plus we decided to not even ask if you wanted hot sauce for your greasy tacos. Three times in a row I get the wrong order. Now, I would not step into Jack's if you paid me! OK....for the right amount of money I would.
