American Deli — Restaurant in Buford

Good food. Rude cook. The cashier was professional and nice. They make the cashier ask first before she can hand you ketchup packets to go. Then when I looked at the manager he asked me Como estas? I'm white and I thought that was disrespectful because I know I don't look like I speak Spanish. It was near closing time and he might have been tired and I was in a good mood and polite, so I just said " I'm fine" and left. But, I really bothered me. I should have asked for a refund and left. No need for that when I didn't even say anything and just looked at him. I have aspergergrs and I don't usually make eye contact so I might have looked more concerned then I was. I really didn't even think of it until he squared up on me and said that. I really felt disrespect ed for no reason. But I couldn't be sure how he meant it. It was really like somewhere between wanna fight me and what's your problem? I wouldn't have thought about the ketchup packets issue unless he did that but I spent the whole way home thinking about why I might have looked at him in a way that illicit that response. Thats the only thing I can think of. I just looked at him without even knowing at the time that something got my attention that way. . The other thing they do is they open the to go box and let you inspect your food. Thats the only place I've ever seen do that. I said it looks good. Which may have been a mistake. This restaurant had horrible service horrible customer service. They made my order wrong and refuse to fix it. I ask for no onions on my sandwich and there was onions on my sandwich and when I asked them to correct this mistake they refuse to correct it even though I had the receipt showing that I ordered no onions on my sandwich and it clearly had onions on it the cashier and the cooks argue with me. So at this time I asked for a refund and they refuse to refund my money. Then I asked for the manager or owner's number they did not want to give the number of the manager or owner. So then I brought all my food back and requested a refund finally got the manager's number and his name was Bobby he was not of any help whatsoever very disappointed in American deli if you're someone that eats at American deli I would advise you do not come to this location very very poor...

Terrible establishment. Had lunch with my mother here today and the food was probably the worst meal I’ve had. “Fried rice” was super greasy and buttery, it even looked shiny because of how greasy from butter it was. Wings were coated in a generic terrible buffalo sauce. Fried butterfly shrimp tasted old and tasted as if the oil used to fry them was old. We took a few bites of the food and threw it away because it was not eatable. There is a fountain machine for drinks. There is no water. Sweet tea was extremely sweet and we couldn’t even water it down bc there was no water. Cashier was sitting on customer tables having conversation with another male that was eating prior to taking our order. Restaurant was dirty.
