This was a no star experience but I had to give it one. Sticky tables and floors, rude staff, dry food. I have never experienced being yelled at by a server after being ignored before. We were a black, 9 person sitting and that should not have been an issue seeing as there was another party of 14 already seated behind us and already getting their food. But no one came to take our order and left us sitting there for at least 15 minutes. No drinks, nothing. Then another family of 6 was seated near us, served drinks and by the time our server came over to rush our orders, the other table was getting the starters. The older black lady even yelled she knew we had no napkins when the children (one was the birthday boy) had messy wings and needed to clean his hands. We up getting up 3 times to get out our paper towels. No one ever go us any. Once the food started coming out for us, the meat was tough, dry, and bland. The Mac and cheese came out of a microwave. 20 mins after orders they told my sister they ran out of chicken so they brought her a salad that had grease marks all over the plate. I had to track down the server at the front who was rolling silverware to find out how to pay the bill, she may have checked out table one time. Everyone had an attitude like we were the problem by just wanting to try this establishment. The icing on the cake was after we left, without tipping, the server said to other customers in the dinner that no one wanted to wait on us because they knew we wouldn’t tip. I have just driven back to Augusta Ga and my sister is going back to Michigan so this may not matter at all to this company, but if you want to earn a tip, drop your prejudice for all paying customers and your reviews and business might turn around. We then told our waitress that we would like a sweet tea since we were going to order the big deal and a drink would be included. She eventually came back with our order and I asked her about our drinks. She replied that she was able to run our order with the waters. Since we wanted water we told her that was good. I asked the waitress to get me some fresh fries, the ones I had tasted like the had been sitting in the grease for a while. She brought me fresh fries and told me to be careful because they were extremely hot. She was right about the outside of the fries but it seem that they cooked them to fast, the outside was good and crispy while the inside was still frozen. I mentioned this to my waitress and she offered me a different side. I explained that I didn’t want any other side and I would just take the sandwich. After receiving my check I noticed that both meals were charged as combos, drinks included even though we were told that they were taken off. I also told the waitress that I didn’t get a combo since I had a water and no eatable fries. She took the ticket to the back and came back and said that the manager took off 10% for our trouble. I told her that 10% ($2.31) was nice but my combo ($3.00) was still on there. The manager finally came out and said that she would take care of it. She came back with the ticket and charged us for what we got but took the 10% discount (for our trouble) off. Read moreI placed an order at 4:03 which said it would be ready at 4:14. I arrived at the store at 4:29 and checked in thinking that would be plenty of time to ensure I didn’t have to wait. After waiting ten minutes, I called and the employee said the order wasn’t ready. I explained that the website said it would be ready now 25 mins ago. She said they were short staffed and after asking how much longer I should expect to wait she only could say there was only one order ahead of mine. I waited an additional 20 MORE MINUTES before calling again and was told that my order was ready and would be out immediately. This person asked if i had already called before to check on because my order “had been ready”. After waiting an additional 6 mins, by this time it was after 5:00, I walked in which I had been avoiding since I was waiting with a baby in the car with me. My order was still not ready and when I explained that I came in after being told my order was ready and that I had a baby waiting in my car, the lady working st the cash register said, “well I talked to you on the phone and told you it wasn’t ready and that was someone was ahead of you”. I explained after waiting another 20 mins I had called a second time and the second person I spoke to said it was ready. Finally, someone brought my order over. This is absolutely unacceptable- both that the order was 50 mins later than the posted time which I received in my confirmation email, but more than that the horrendous customer service I received at the Buford location.
