This place just opened up near us and we gave it a try. Great food and take-out at least was awesome (website worked great and food was ready exactly on time just as we got there), but a few more comments: First, the potato. I've said "that's the biggest potato I've ever seen!" a few times in my life so far. Mostly in fancy steakhouses. I don't think I'll ever say it again. Their baked potato was 9.5" long. Absurd, but very welcome. My daughter loves potatoes and that thing is two full meals for her. The "choose two" is a great option because it's not just sandwich/soup/salad, but you have two other categories to choose from. The Italian and four cheese melt sandwiches were awesome. The country potato soup needed more cheese, but that could just be my wife's preference. Grilled cheese and mac & cheese was very good. The chili was very strongly flavored and thin, rather than chunky. A bit of a disappointment. It would have been great as a topping or on a baked potato, but it was a bit strong and thin to be eaten alone. Overall, this is definitely going to be a regular...
Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at this location. When I walked in, the staff behind the counter immediately ignored me, even though I was standing right at the register. It took several minutes before anyone acknowledged me, and when someone finally did take my order, she was rude and dismissive.
More concerning, though, were the unsanitary conditions behind the counter. I watched multiple staff members brushing their hair with their fingers while handling food, and one of the kitchen workers picked his nose while wearing gloves—and then continued working without changing them.
Unfortunately, I ended up throwing my sandwich in the trash—still in the bag—because I just couldn’t stomach eating something that was prepared in such an unsanitary environment. That was $15 down the drain.
This location needs immediate attention and retraining around basic hygiene and customer service. I truly hope management takes...
Read moreThis was my first time going to ANY McAlister’s and I was more than pleasantly surprised.
The atmosphere in the restaurant itself was great… the music, the staff, and the welcoming environment that was portrayed. I immediately felt as thought this was a higher chain restaurant.
The cashier woman at the front was absolutely phenomenal. She greeted me with a smile on her face and took my order with enthusiasm. Whoever the short, dark haired woman was in the front definitely deserves a raise for the customer service! I was given recommendations as this was my first time and it did not disappoint. The food was incredible. As a NCAA and semi-professional athlete, I watch what I eat very carefully. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and made with love.
Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a great lunch. This...
