If you want the best burger in Fort Worth, this is the place to go! I loved it ever since I've gone there for the first time back in 2014. My in laws have gone to this place for years and now it's like a family dinner tradition at least once a month. In general food is AMAZING, staff is very kind, helpful and accommodating and it really seems like they love to work there. The ambient if full of interesting memorabilia and the thing that you may notice right away are all the register plates from different states. They also have at least 3 TVs where they either show news, some interesting tv shows or sport events. Did I already say how amazing these burgers are? They're really juicy, have a lot of flavor and all the ingredients seem fresh. I usually order a cheeseburger and side of sweet potato fries and was never disappointed so far. My father in law tried one of their sandwiches that came with homemade potato chips and he enjoyed it a lot. They also have ice cream shakes that are made from bluebell icecream and they sure are good. I also love the complimentary roasted peanuts on each table. They taste very good just be mindful that you don't eat too much before your real meals gets brought to the table. Usually you need to wait about 10 min or so for your burgers to be made, but keep in mind that they're made fresh for each order therefore the wait is logical. They also serve beer in cool glasses and I think margarita, but I've only ordered beer so far and once even got a complementary one. My recommendation for dinner is to go before 5:30 pm or you'll run into huge crowds. Since there's another Mexican restaurant (I think it's called Fresco's) and Bebe's chicken place nearby the parking lot are almost always packed. My family usually decides to have dinner there on week days, preferably on Monday to Wednesday because during weekends and on Fridays this place is packed and even if there's room at any oft hose tree restaurants there may not be any parking left anywhere nearby. There sure is another parking across the railroad track, but it may take you some walking to get to the restaurant.
The last thing we really like about this place that it's not too expensive, I would even consider it on the cheaper side. I think my cheeseburger is like 4$ and sides are about 2$ or so, sweet potato fries being the more...

I have lived in Burleson for 5 years now and finally decided to try out Grumps. I waited so long because when I looked at the menu online it appeared plain and boring. So we finally decided to go and see for ourselves. Oh Boy. I can tell you that I will probably never eat here again.
Food: The queso burger was literally swimming in queso which made the bread soggy, and it came with mustard which is one of the worst things you could have on a queso burger. The mushroom Swiss burger was equally as awful, as the mushrooms were soggy and lacked any flavor. The patties at Grumps are thick and flavorless, undercooked, and just bland. You can tell they just ship for ingredients at Sysco and lack any true chef to deliver any sort of interesting product. Perhaps the only edible item were the sweet potato fries but even those are much better at Mooya Burger. Oh and to top it all off the shake I ordered was very runny and melted. Food Score= C
Service: The person taking our order at the register lacked any sort of welcoming attitude. When we got our drinks they came in disposable cups but there were no drink lids at the beverage station, half of the drinks were out of order, and there were no straws either. When my shake was brought out to the table the lady just dropped it off with no straw so I had to go back downstairs to get one. Lastly and most importantly was the wait. The guy at the register said that our food would be out in about 15-20 minutes and but we waited almost 45 mins before anything was brought to the table. Service Score = F
Overall Score = C-
Summary: As a first time visitor to this establishment, I am shocked it is still in business. Do not eat here, save your money and go elsewhere for better burgers...
Read moreWe've been here twice and we absolutely love their food! The burgers are perfectly cooked and juicy. The fries are cooked to perfection. Their chips and queso are awesome!
Even with their great food, I've rated Grump's 4/5 stars for a couple of reasons:
Firstly, the last time we went, we arrived at 8:20PM. Grump's closes at 9PM and we felt really rushed; staff almost made the atmosphere uncomfortable by constantly asking if we need To Go boxes (even after only 5-10 minutes of having our food), stacking chairs on the tables around us and giving us a "last call" on the fountain drinks so they could clean the machine. I do understand that the restaurant closes at 9 but I don't think it is a valid reason to make your customers feel uncomfortable. Even in this case the staff was friendly (they have been extremely friendly which is why we went there again) but hinted at several things to pretty much make us leave. This place is good but doesn't want to be a late meal spot - if you go, do it before 8PM.
Secondly, the first time we were there I had motor oil or some kind of black liquid fall on me. It smelled like metal. When I pointed it out to staff, they acted like it wasn't a big deal and normal. I don't think this is normal. This was honestly a minimal problem for me as it had only dropped on the sleeve of my shoulder; had it dropped on my food I think I would have...
