I was there for what was supposed to be a private birthday party. The lady that was giving the party for her Mother and her Brother was told that the place was closed on Mondays, so her Party would be the only ones at the restaurant. When she walked in, the restaurant was NOT closed, and she was told that her party of 45 people was going to be placed in the game room. This game room was approx 8-10 ft wide by approx 36 ft long. For 45 people. To be socially distanced. And the people who wanted to eat had to order and eat standing up. All the while, the Manager and some of his Cronies were sitting at a table just outside of the game room, in clear site of the Party, and never once offered any clear tables for anyone to go sit at to eat. Not even the Families with small kids that were there. THE WAITRESSES THAT TOOK CARE OF THE PARTY WERE AWESOME!!!! NO FAULT TO ANY OF THEM. The Manager, however, who's only in business for the Almighty dollar, and was not following any rules of social distancing, well I can only hope you get yours Mister. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone, based on what my friend's daughter went through. I'm sure she paid good money to rent out the entire restaurant to have a safe and happy Birthday for her 70 yrs old Mother and several other older family members. Karma, Mister...
Read moreI really wish I could rate this place higher. The potential for this place has been so high since the time they were the first bar in old town Burleson.
This rating is not because of price, quality, activities, food, or the overall ambiance. No, this bar takes a huge hit with the servers. Not to say that they are all bad, but I can count on two fingers how many I have had that were above terrible. There are HUGE preferences towards regulars. I understand having favorites, but those favorite people should NEVER take this much away from the service of other patrons. One minute the waitress is acting like Local Joe is the funniest person in the world, and the next it’s like I’m invisible at best and am bothering her at worst. I know they are not psychic, but I tip quite well. However, that should not be a factor. To be fair, I have not been since the quarantine was lifted, and I hope that they trimmed the fat.
Other than that, prices are good, food is above bar quality, and the place itself is huge and...
Read moreI have to share the same experience as many of the other reviews. I've given this place a try on three occasions in the past since moving to the area in 2018. I come to Old Town Burleson quite a lot for the restaurants and a great comic shop. I simply stopped trying to come here. I figured it was just bad timing on my part at first.
I was never greeted when walking in. I was asked to move tables on my second visit (nobody seated us). Each time I've waited anywhere from 15-20 minutes for service. After 20 min I left, each time. I would love to know how the food tastes or any cocktails they serve, but the fact of the matter is, I've never been served here to date. I've never even been given a menu when I've come.
If I ever come back after eating, I will update my review from one star, but with all of the cool places to go in Burleson, Crowley, and even Ft. Worth, I usually walk past this door on my way to somewhere else. I have to give this place 1 star as I cannot...
