NEW post: I was having a bad day/week, and of course, I NEEDED a sweet treat to comfort my depressed and sad emotions lol. Ruth has hands from heaven because her baking takes my body to heaven and back. I think about her desserts EVERY DAY at work (and I’m a dental hygienist so I talk to my patients everyday to have sugar in moderation) but I say YES YES to Murry Bakery desserts every day, because it’s so comforting and delicious! The family business gave me extra desserts to test out and honestly, EVERYTHING Ruth makes is amazing. Top faves: lemon cookies, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, sopapilla cheesecake, any of her breads. Kids favorites: brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and Oreo truffles. My daughter is like I said I wanted more than 3 truffles!!!!!! She wants all of them in the case ❤️💕❤️💕❤️

We (my family and I) LOVE Murry Bakery. Ruthie is the best baker and pastry chef. I crave desserts on the regular ( and I’m a dental hygienist so no bueno for me 😭🤦🏼‍♀️), and I could spend my whole paycheck here. It’s obvious that everything is fresh and made from scratch and perfected to perfection.

My favorites are: lemon cookies (omg it’ll make you moan and groan) oatmeal chocolate chip, sopapilla cheesecake (dangerously amazingly awesome), and anything with a soft bread. I’m a sucker for flavored soft bread-like desserts. I had the ooey gooey confetti bar yesterday and I had fresh blackberries at home to add to the side. Warmed it up and drizzled honey on my blackberries and omg 😱 so amazing. But only because of the confetti bar!

Also, my husband didn’t speak loud enough while ordering the Oreo truffle for our daughter and when we got in the car and she was searching for her truffle, she started crying because she couldn’t find it. I double checked the bag, couldn’t find it, grabbed my wallet and went inside to get her a new one. I asked the lady for two this time since my daughter will devour one in a heartbeat 💓 and I hate to see her cry, and Ruthie said I could have them for FREE. She had been listening 👂 to what I told the lady and Ruthie said don’t charge for the Oreo truffle. I told her I’ll pay for the second because we only ordered one and she said no it’s okay and not to worry about it. That is SOO SWEET!!! You put the biggest smile on our daughter’s face. I let her know you gave them to her so she knew they were extra special this time. She’s 7 yrs old, and has considered owning her own bakery one day too. You are an inspiration for the community. DIETERS BEWARE!! DH stumbled upon this bakery a few months ago and his excitement for these tasty treats is akin to a calico cat wearing a catnip sweater. The pastry chef drops these flavor bombs of pastry specials daily that are as creative as they are delicious!!! Our family is a huge fan of Murry Bakery. Everything we've had is delicious. Definitely Sign-up for the texts (or don't if you're dieting) so you know the latest specials. Some of our absolute faves include: key lime pie bars, snickerdoodle cookie, sugar cookie with sprinkles and the lemon cookie (all the cookies).
