Stopped in to check things out and hopefully pick up some Pokemon tcg packs cause I'm tired of waiting for online stuff to ship. Really clean and organized with a nice selection of all kinds of things from tabletop games, figurines, comics, cards, and so much more. They had plenty of tables space to hang with friends and play some D&D, Magic or anything else that tickles your fancy. Prices were a little on the higher end, but the staff was super nice (Sort of). My son was asking about the MHA 2 character box set marked at $29.99 and was told it was the only one left so he felt like had to get it now. I looked around and saw 4 more boxes tucked up on the top shelf on the other end and told him to ask what the difference was. The young lady played it off with the "Oh I didn't know these were here" routine. Once I told my son they still had plenty he relaxed, but was upset and asked me why they said it was the last one. "Mmm because your a kid and your going to believe what they say and want to get it now". I asked to see a Pokemon sword and shield ultimate box and decided to pick it up. Then I asked to see the MHA tcg series 1 box they marked discounted. Overall I picked up the Pokemon box, the MHA dual character set and the MHA series 1 discounted box as I didn't want to wait to order online and have to wait, but I really didn't like how they tried to sell my son on a "it's the last one" knowing they had more in plain sight on the opposite side of the shelf. May or may not be back if trickery of kids is a sales...
Read moreIt's a good shop lots of stuff nice size, BUT one of the most important things in this hobby is trading cards I repeat TRADING CARDS, they are not trade friendly they only care about money unfortunately, they will offer you the lowest cost price for your cards including NOT counting it as a foil which everyone knows sometimes foil variants add quite a bit of value, so they mark you down to the lowest possible value for YOUR cards and then don't include it even being a foil variant and also then marking your cards down an additional 50% and then charge the highest possible for their own cards to make sure that you're going to have to trade really high or have to spend cash no matter what. I understand running a business but this is just greedy especially with the card manufacturers being as greedy as they are becoming. I would just like to see more shops that are geared toward the client more and keeping the trading aspect alive. Oh and they also make sure they trade their card value at the foil variant even though they won't do the same for your cards... Good selection big shop lots of different stuff to see but definitely not very geared to the customer you can go to spend...
