Bojangles — Restaurant in Burlington

This was the worse experience I’ve ever had at any fast food establishment. I ordered 8 piece tail gate special thru the drive thru and received burnt biscuits, only 7 pieces of chicken, no gravy, and no tea. I went inside and a young lady was getting me a whole new order of chicken only (didn’t realize the tea and gravy was missing) when I was rudely ask for my receipt by another employee names Catherine who was not helping me from the beginning. When I questioned why my receipt was needed she began yelling “ I was going to give you your money back but I don’t have time to deal with this!” She also told me to not come back to the store. I also received someone else’s order in the end and a refusal to provide me a receipt after only giving me back some of my money and still no gravy, no tea and chicken I didn’t order.

FYI: I never asked for my money back in the first place. The other lady who was standing near me did and I believe Catherine mixed the two of us up, however yelling at a customer and being rude is not the experience I thought I would endure coming to this bojanges. Was in here March 01, 2025: I was in this restaurant to purchase food for a ill patient of mines, and your female worker licks her fingers right in front of me (customer) on purpose to disrupt my customer experience. View front restaurant camera between 6:25PM-7:00PM you will see as she places the spoon in the gravy-mash potatoes, stirring than licks hands inside her mouth right in front of me then proceed to prepare orders. I felt as a customer that worker should be fired. Her hands-finger should NEVER be in her mouth. Because it very disrespectful and inconsiderate to the customer. A lot of customers have sensitive health, and cannot afford to get sick or something worse like COVID. Unprofessional environment, and for some reason they take the meal on the side like they don't want customers to see what they're doing or got something to hide. I remember back in the day early 2000's this restaurant use to be a hundred percent grade. Not it failing drastically to a complete non existent. But the sanitation needs to be up to par. Came here around 7-8pm and the food and staff was ATROCIOUS. The first thing that happened was we had been waiting in the drive thru line for about 10-15 minutes and when we finally pull up to order, they tell us that they can’t take card through the drive thru. That didn’t make any sense but whatever, we backed up out of the drive thru line and decided to go inside to order. Once we got inside, staff was joking around in the kitchen, screaming, yelling, laughing, throwing stuff and we waited 10-15 for someone to take our order yet again. Because the staff kept goofing off, we didn’t get our food until 30 minutes after we ordered. Our biscuits were burnt, our soda was bland because they hadn’t replaced the syrup, and chicken was not cooked properly.
