This place is such a bummer. You are literally handed a customer base because it's a Chipotle, and then you deliver the most subpar service and meals it's insane. I would not be surprised if they pulled their numbers and have seen a steady decline over the years. This place lacks function, and it's service is atrocious on the best days. Tipping culture has also turned your work force into vultures. Ill give you an example, if I place a to-go order, and I drive twenty minutes to come pick it up, and I don't tip the staff for doing the basics in making an order (which is what the COMPANY pays them to do), my order will always be shorted in some capacity. Either the chip bags are under filled, they don't double on portions (that I pay for!) or just intentionally get it wrong. Wild way to earn a tip bt. But if I do tip ahead of time, everything is over the top in its completion? Got it. So this places culture is basically only good service if I pay an extra 20$ on top of the absurd prices already. Read moreThere’s a short older manager (he didn’t have a name tag) shaved hair, glasses on his forehead was EXTREMELY rude and condescending. My husband and his coworkers placed a pickup order at the refinery so I went to pick up the order. It said the order would be ready by 11:30, so I came in at 11:10. I went up to the front and asked if the order might be ready yet as those times are often estimates, I was just asking and he looked at me and said, “it’s 11:10. Your order says 11:30.” And I said, “Yes I’m so sorry I just wanted to know if it would be ready I’m not trying to rush you.” And he again looks at me and says, “Yes. And it’s 11:10. So sit down.” I just smiled and said okay since you don’t mess with people who make your food. But he was extremely rude and I wasn’t trying to rush him or anyone. Read moreFor the past 10+ years my order has always been the same...chicken burrito with a side of guacamole and chips.
For the last few visits i have noticed that the guacamole is not a normal darker green and has been significantly less flavorful. Almost like it is a paler yellow color and definitely lacking in flavor.
Also, the chips appear to be two kinds and definitely also not as fresh as i remember. Almost like there is a mix of maybe some pre-bagged older/staler chips with maybe some fresher (but not as fresh as i remember from older days) local chips.
Anyways, definitely noticing what i believe to be some cutting of quality corners here.
It's always the case as a business proceeds through the time/history scale that some damn MBA's get their claws into things and begin to cheapen the products.
The burrito was still good but i have noticed that for more than half of the last dozen visits there is waaayyyy too much salt being added to the chicken...a couple of visits I could not even finish the burrito it was...
