Rose & Rae's Cafe — Restaurant in Burlington

Rose & Rae's Cafe is a seriously brilliant gem in Burlington! We are Graham residents who recently discovered this bakery on the recommendation of a fellow gluten-free friend. When I entered the doors, I was immediately greeted by a kind team member at the counter. While I perused the vast array of food and dessert offerings, my sons were delighted to enjoy the play kitchen on the other side of the room. I was grateful for that feature! As it was my first time in the store, I asked the team member for assistance picking some things out for my husband. She was super helpful and gave me a lot of good recommendations, as well as easy cooking and reheating instructions for the items I chose. My husband was extremely pleased with our purchases (read: everything was super delicious!) and said he looks forward to our next trip there! Thanks for your incredible food...

Despite the not so great pics, my favorite treat was the strawberry shortcake/poundcake. I'm not a fan of whipped cream, but the strawberries were amazingly fresh—I just wish there were more! 😊 The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. It's rare to be greeted with such a genuine smile and to feel like the owner genuinely wants to chat with you. After a long day at the park with my son, we stopped by for an icee across the street, and she gave us a tray to prevent spills before we left, which was really thoughtful. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and I noticed there's a small kitchen area for kids. I appreciate that they have that because trying to order with kids who want to run around can be quite challenging sometimes. Overall 10/10 experience, and I’ll be back to try...

WOW!! I have had the pleasure of sampling a few things from Rose and Raes over the past couple years and every item has always been great. This past weekend I was surprised with a box of goodies for a surprise baby shower. My dessert choices are limited because I have gestational diabetes and having all of these options made for ONE HAPPY MOMMA! I can’t say these were good “for being sugar free”… they’re just fantastic in general! We also tried a supreme pizza and a margarita pizza but no photos because they didn’t last that long… every single thing was delicious and you can taste the love and passion for what the owner is doing in every single bite.
