I'm so disappointed with how management chose to respond to my inquiry to troubleshoot how and why I was charged $63.19 on July 2nd at the Burnsville Nicollet Ave Starbucks location when I only ordered a small coffee. Granted, I am in the habit of not requesting receipts for small orders and didn't notice anything odd at the time of check-out - I would have expected the barista to pay particular attention to the final bill and follow-up immediately at the time of purchase. Looking back, this isn't the first time I've had issues with an order placed there. There have been multiple occasions I've left that drive-through only to discover I've been given someone else's order. I know people make mistakes, but this seems to be an uncomfortable pattern that can no longer be overlooked. The encounter today (7/10/25) ended with the manager instructing the barista to tell me to follow-up with my bank???? No effort on the manager's part to even speak with me. However, something changed in the last few months and the people who work there have been nothing short of amazing. Doors were open and unlocked, husband went in to place an order, the guy at the register refused to give us a receipt and then told my husband to wait outside for the drinks and proceeded to LOCK the door. If you are going to close down the lobby, at least lock the doors behind the people who are already in there and let them get their drinks don’t kick them out in the cold after they have already PAID.
