It’s common practice for Scooters on Bristol Rd to charge you for a larger drink, yet give you a smaller size. I stopped coming to this scooters for this very reason for quite some time. Over the last 6 months I’ve diligently asked for receipts to stop this from happening because unfortunately this is the closest scooters to me, I should not have to do that to ensure HONESTY with my hard earned money. ESPECIALLY in today’s economy. I’ve spent far too much money at this coffee shop to not realize the pattern here. The last 3 times I have came through and not asked for a receipt with my purchase I’ve either been charged for a small(16oz) and given a kids size(12oz) mind you Carmelicious do not even come in kids sizes(this is the only drink I ever purchase small blended carmelicious $6.20 every single time), charged for a medium(20oz) and given a small(16oz) which brings us to today..I did not ask for a receipt...ordered my normal drink small carmelicious and was given a kids smiley smoothie size which again does not even come in a child’s size like I brought to the baristas attention the last time this happened. Had this been the only time this has happened or even just a couple times(because I am well aware mistakes happen in business) I would not make it a big deal, but this has been going on for far too long. This is not the way anyone should have to start their morning, being scammed by their friendly neighborhood baristas at scooters coffee if you don’t bold them accountable..as if their prices aren’t steep enough. Unbelievably disappointed that after all the money I have spent at this coffee shop and been more than understanding for these “mistakes” that happen frequently, they are still getting over on people. To ensure that I wasn’t just overlooking honest mistakes and turning it into something it’s not I’ve had SEVERAL others go through and order and have the same thing happen to them. Charged for a larger size while given the smaller size they ordered. To make matters worse it happens the most when the owners children and the manager are working. If that doesn’t speak volumes about the fact that this is something they are being trained to do then I’m not sure what does. I let this slide about 5 times before speaking with the owner late last year, instead of trying to get to the bottom of this she resulted to being very defensive and insulting. Stopped giving them my business for a while hoping that things would change and she would run a tighter ship, tried again for the last 6 months and it’s very clear that they’re still doing this. Your practices are very shady and unethical and as a business owner myself I can see right through the “mistakes” that happen intentionally to increase your revenue. If you will do this to a regular customer I can only imagine the amount of people who don’t realize the shadiness happening with their hard earned dollars at your coffee shop. With that being said I have proof of ALL of my allegations and will no longer be treated like I am just a hard to please customer for simply wanting what I PAID FOR! It’s incredibly disrespectful and a very frustrating way to start your day to...
Read moreThis has been my go to for 2+ years always had exceptional customer service! If there was ever an issue they took care of it right away. But the kids they've recently hired have no clue on what they're doing. When they mess something up don't complain or your in the owners words "being rude to some of my baristas". Yeah let's be rude to the people who make my coffee everyday. Hmm that doesn't seem right does it? This it what happens when kids are left in charge. In just the past month or so they've forgoten to give me my card back, quality of drinks has went way down and they're a.) not putting appropriate amount of expresso for a large and b.) Should be adding expresso to the boiling water so the expresso froth is preserved. Nd to think I've referred people here too.
I have already been attacked by the owner, I think I'm good. This for anyone else's reference. I'll never go...
Read moreI love good coffee and have found a caramel latte to be a safe go to from most places. This was my first time trying Scooters. I found the service was exceptionally friendly! The young lady who took my money made pleasant small talk while I waited for the coffee. I also love that the drinks came in an extra large size. Unfortunately , I found my caramel latte with an extra shot of espresso to be undrinkable. The caramel syrup was way too sugary. It tasted like syrup instead of the usual caramel topping, which was a big disappointment. I brought the coffee home and added another shot and a half of espresso and it was still way too sweet to drink!! My $8.00 coffee was a waste of money. I would suggest using caramel topping, instead of caramel syrup and maybe using half the amount that is used now. Not an...
