When ordering thru DoorDash, it's nothing but problems from McDonald's. Yesterday, we ordered multiple things, including two cheeseburgers. They used the yellow wrapping with "cheeseburger" on the top as it should be. Yet, they gave us McChickens with bacon, lettuce, and tomato on them (not even normal McChickens) Even when they issued a refund for the two items, it didn't even cover the cost I paid for the two incorrect sandwiches (I used to work at this exact McDonald's beginning in highschool and ending as a 2nd Assistant Shift Manager, before doordash existed - there are separate wrappings for each sandwich, differentiated by hamburger or chicken, and a refund issued should account for the full amount paid for the incorrect items, even including taxes).
In addition, they've claimed to be unable to make basic menu items and failed to inform doordash of their inability. So, door dash just keeps reassigning drivers, instead of having the customer order something different. They then have to wait for the order to be cancelled by the restaurant, and wait up to 10 days for a refund to be issued. This has happened numerous times, including when ordering a regular Big Mac combo meal one time, and a sausage biscuit meal at 8:50 in the morning (breakfast ends at 10:30). It's just never what it's supposed to be, and McDonald's & Door dash is never interested in making the order right or making the customer whole.
I've given reviews for both because DOOR DASH blames McDonald's, and McDonald's blames Door Dash and the driver. Get it together.
People are paying EXTRA for food to be delivered during COVID and McDonald's & DoorDash are providing poor service, ripping off vulnerable communities without an option to go to the restaurant itself and paying EXTRA for the delivery service.
This is totally...
Read moreEvery time I go there something is wrong with the order, usually I just live with it, but maybe that's why things don't get fixed because too many of us don't want to offend anyone and we just take it. I think I'm done doing that. Today on my way to work, I went through the drive-thru. First, I sat in line a long time, then I asked for a Southwest GRILLED chicken salad with an extra Southwest dressing (charged extra 40¢) and a small order of fries. (Total $7.79) I finally get to window, and ask for ketchup (which is no longer Heinz!!! Super ticks me off.) and salt for fries, she says OK. She says you have Southwest salad right, I say Yes...she says we don't have any Southwest dressing (What!?!), so she says we have ranch, so I say ok, and wait more. Then she hands me bag, I have to fly now cause can't be late for work. I get to work...NO salt, NO "fancy ketchup" for fries... And worst..my chicken is fried crispy chicken. YUK! Not Grilled that I ordered, plus have to eat it with ranch instead of Southwest dressing!!! Grrrrr!! What I want to know is simple, does the manager ever do quality checks? Is the training that poor, or is it that really no one gives a crap about doing a good job anymore, and getting things right??? If I had done my job so poorly I would not have had...
Read moreOkay, so this isn't my first rodeo dealing with the weirton McDonald's, but I am beond baffled at the fact of how awful mine and my older brothers experience was. We arrived at the facility around 3:30 AM and we were told that we were unable to get lunch, then they flipped on a dime when we threatened to leave. We ordered our meal and at the end I ordered an Oreo Mcflurry... When we arrived at the 2nd window they said that the Mcflurry machine was broke, what worker doesn't know their own machines, they should've never gave me the false hope of getting my Mcflurry. We ended up getting our food and my brother asked about something on the receipt and was given an unfathomable amout of sass from the cashier. When we arrived at our household, we proceeded to eat like civilized human beings, and what do you know... There were multiple hairs scattered in our food... HAIR, HUMAN HAIR... Sickening, I know. After this painstaking experience I would be shocked if they get so much as one more customer to enter that hellish place.
Note from older brother "The double...
