Julian's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Cañon City

Very disappointing experience. The prices on the menu were not honored by the staff even after pointing out the prices shown on the menu. The only thing they would say is I'll have to talk to my boss about it. I can't change what comes up in the register. I decided to let that go and move forward with a to-go order and the total came much higher than expected so when I asked about the charges some of it was because the prices were higher than what was shown on the menu but what I was not expecting was to be charged for a couple leaves of cilantro to put on top of a taco. This was extremely disappointing because I have been to many Mexican restaurants all over Colorado because I love Mexican food and cilantro and onion are just part of the toppings on a real taco just like ketchup on a hamburger so to be charged separately was more of a shock after them not honoring their menu prices. I will say I do like their food but just go in knowing that you're going to pay more than what is shown on the menu and be sure to ask how much they charge...

Julian’s Taco Shop gets ZERO stars!! I had to put 1 star out there just to make a review, I take that star back!! Very rude and disrespectful VERY POOR Customer service and the food was HORRIBLE!! We ordered takeout, it was the worst food ever. We ordered carne asada fries, a taco salad and a nacho supreme. The fries were old and cold, the taco salad bowl was stale and so were the nacho chips. All of the red sauce was just thrown in the bag and was spilled out everywhere. We called our order in at 5:42 pm , they told us to pick up in about 15 to 20 minutes, we arrived at 6:00 pm , 20 minutes later, There was no way we received fresh hot food. They argued with us and said the manager would be there in the morning. We brought the food right back to them and asked for our money back of 39.55. They STILL wanted to argue and tried telling us that the food sat to long for pick up, I showed them the time from when we ordered and the time we picked up… there was no more arguing he rudely refunded our money back . I ordered on doordash, they do not have the option for instructions on the food, or any place you can write in food allergies. So I made my order of cheese enchiladas online, immediately called the store after the purchase was confirmed and let them know about my order, asked if they could please make sure there was no lettuce because I am extremely allergic. They assured me they would make sure there was no lettuce and I got a sigh of relief! Once the food was delivered, covered in lettuce. Very heartbreaking from a pregnant woman that just wants to eat! This place is not professionally ran. You guys need to be taking precautions on food allergies seriously, that is an absolute joke! Plus I must add that they are sexist to who they hire. A Native American friend of mine had a job interview with them and said that they would not hire him unless he cut his hair.
