Heard nothing but great things about this place. Of course the food looks good and the atmosphere. My rating comes from actually from the menu and cheese dip. My mouth is healing from getting my wisdom teeth taken out so some soft ground beef was perfect for my fajitas. Problem is the menu confuses steak and beef. Youll see steak this steak that. But of course when I go to order beef fajitas they were actually referring to steak. Dear god my mouth hurts. If I wanted steak fajitas then I'd have given a better rating cause thats what I got. But its not what I wanted and now im going to suffer because beef and steak are apparently the same thing in this instance.
Now my other gripe is the cheese dip. 4.50 for the small cheese dip was not what I expected. The cheese dip has good consistency but the serving size is not worth the price. Its very very small.
Overall I'm disappointed that it was not communicated properly that beef was steak and steak was steak. But I aint about to waste 12 dollars. But the menu needs to be corrected because instances like this does happen where a chewy food like steak is mistaken for a soft food like ground beef and its vital the customer knows which is which because in my instance the chewy steak really hurts my sore gums.
It feels almost kinda unfair to the restaurant to give a rating on their menu communication rather then the food. But again this was a vital circumstance that in the big town of cabot could happen to other people so the need to specify what is what is very important when people order with these...
Read moreI have been coming here for a couple months regularly. Nothing has happened until yesterday (10/03/2025) . I ordered takeout and I came to pick it up. Nothing was wrong with the food but I had a very disrespectful and disappointing experience with two of the workers. The guy that greeted me when I walked in guided me towards the cash register where a lady was standing. When I walked over there he said to her in Spanish „She is here for the tacos, she is such a torta", she giggled and shook her head yes agreeing with what he said. This was all said in Spanish. I understand Spanish very well so I was absolutely shocked when he said that, assuming I wouldn't understand. In the moment I did not say anything because I was embarrassed and I didn't want to make a scene in front of all the people sitting there. After I payed I left and looked up the word he used, the regular translation to Spanish means cake yet in Mexican slang it means basically a big woman in a disrespectful way. I never felt this disrespected in a restaurant. This was truly the worst experience I have ever encountered with a waiter. The worst part of it all was how effortlessly they did it. Believe me if they did that to me they probably do it all the time to other people. Won't be coming back, and neither is my family and friends. I'll make...
Read moreWas in town for a wedding and went there because it is next to the hotel. Dining in person was good, the service was good and food was ok, nothing to rave about. It was standard Mexican fare with no surprises and worth the price. I ordered a chimichanga with ground beef, but got one with steak instead. When the bill came I noticed that I was charged for the steak and not what I ordered. Not sure if this was an honest mistake or what, but I didn't say anything. A few nights later we got takeout, and this is the reason for 3-stars. We ordered 2 burritos and were asked if we wanted them "ala carte". Not wanting rice and beans I said yes. When we got the food the "burritos" were nothing but grilled steak on a tortilla, nothing else. No lettuce, tomato, beans, or anything. I called them to inquire as to what they sold me and the person that answered the phone, who wasn't the person that took the order btw, explained "that's what ala carte means to us." According to this person ala carte means a meat on a tortilla. I explained what ala carte means to the rest of the world and ate my cold meat on a cold tortilla. If you order from this place be clear in what you want and what they will give...
