Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Caldwell

I made an order on Halloween for some pizza's and I made sure to order them a couple of hours before I actually needed them (ordered at 4pm). The online system said it would only be 45min. After an hour (5:15pm) the online system wasn't updating so I called to see if everything was still okay with my order, I was told that it would actually be another hour since they were busy (no big deal because I ordered ahead of time). We waited until around 7pm and I gave them a call to get a status update on the order and the person that I was speaking with told me "you're not the only one who made an order tonight", which was an odd thing to say since I was looking for a timeframe of when we could expect the delivery to happen, which I think is fair for customers to ask. After 9pm we were all pretty much done with the Halloween festivities and ready to call it a day, the pizza's had still not arrived so I called to cancel the order since we really didn't need the pizza's anymore. A different person answered the phone and when I stated that I wanted to cancel the order they said "huh, that's weird" and then stated "sure, we can cancel that order", I don't believe that order was ever coming. The next day Domino's sent a survey about the order and we told them what happened. They sent out some free tokens for pizza and bread sticks, we called the same location to make the order and told them that we had tokens but they couldn't process the order because they didn't know how to use the tokens. Worst....

My favorite pizza place on Mondays, because they have a 12” medium 1 topping pizza for $3.99. I attached pictures and a video of a challenge I tried. I chose a jalapeño pizza w thin crust, cause nobody on youtube has it, and I dont like the regular crust. Ill try a regular cheese pizza challenge next time. I drink purified water out of a big wine bottle. I dare you to try my jalapeño medium pizza challenge under 14.15 mins and reply to me! I enjoyed doing this challenge, I was aiming to eat an entire pizza under one minute like Matt Stonie, but Im not a fast eater, specially w jalapeños. It was difficult and I know its going to take a lot of practice if I want to do competitive eating, this was my first attempt. I hope you guys enjoy my video, go get some pizza its delicious. I only did this for fun, this is a great location, Im a regular, I like the staff, the quality for the price is much better than Little Caesars and the location is awesome. On the chance that your pizza order is wrong and you call it in, be prepared to: Overhear employees in the background cuss because you called to request a corrected order. Be put on hold for 6 minutes of silence and not told you would be placed on hold. Call back to only be told to go out of your way to return the pizza in order to receive a refund. Ask, "Is this an actual protocol and procedure?" Be told, "Yes." And then go to the store with said pizza where they admit your pizza was made incorrect by them because of a shortage (they kept gaslighting our claims of our pizza being made incorrectly).

Overall, this was a sad and inexcusable lack of proper/common-sense customer service at THIS location. We called another location (down the street) to inquire about what the protocol was, you know what they said? "If the pizza was not to your standard we would happily remake another one, free of charge." They kindly offered to correct the mistake of THIS location and replaced our pizza WITHOUT a sad and frustrating experience. I just hope employees get a refresher course on being kind human beings in the realm of...
