7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Calera

I have mixed feelings about Seven Brew. The drinks are good—no complaints there—but the experience just isn’t for me. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, but the music is so loud that I can barely hear the person taking my order, and they’re literally standing right next to my car with their head inside. It’s awkward and makes the whole interaction more frustrating than it needs to be.

Another thing that really bothers me is how some employees lean on my door or mirror while taking my order. I get that they’re going for a relaxed, friendly vibe, but it just comes across as unprofessional. Stand up, be proud, be loud—but maybe keep a little personal space.

On top of that, the prices are ridiculously high. The last few times I asked for my drink half-sweet, it wasn’t, which was disappointing. I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon—at least not unless inflation cools down or I’ve got a good...

Well 7 brew... You lost a good paying customer tonite. So let me get this straight. I ask for just few cubes of ice and I get a large cup filled slightly over half way delivered to my car? I paid 6.98 plus a 2 dollars tip which is around 9 bucks for one cup of coffee that you can't even fill up all the way? On top of that I asked for sugar free and when I complained about it being only half full the lady poured some filler from a milk jug to top it off. I asked them what that was they put in it and they told me it was a mocha mix. I asked was it sugar free. She said no it's not. I said ok then I told you I was diabetic and now I'm paying 9 bucks for half a cup of coffee with sugar fuller in it? They refunded my money because I've had enough out of this place. I have never had a bad experience at 7brew before today. As I pull up and wait for someone to arrive at my window I get distracted and don’t realize he is there, when I do notice he has an attitude and does not seem pleased to be there. When he was showing me the screen to tip/sign, he was holding it at an angle so I couldn’t see the screen. I tried to tilt it down to where I could see it and he pulled it away. As I pull up and wait for my drinks I notice a man flailing his arms at me, when I rolled down the window to see what was going on he yells “I WAS WAVING” so I say “hello”, he then motions the other guy to come over to him, then they proceeded to laugh and point at me.
