Usually this is my favorite place to eat for food and service they are both usually the best but for the calera location they are quickly loosing my vote. First I went a few months back to drive thru while headed to an appoinment and the drink was just horrible so i called to let them know because I didn't want other customers getting the same nasty drink, well the person on the phone didn't seem to be concerned/apologetic but said they would look into it! Then on 1/31/19 I went in and ask for a #1 with tomato the cashier insisted I had to order the deluxe#1 which isn't what I wanted I didnt want the cheese nor lettuce but if I wanted a tomato I had to order it that way needless to say that was the worse food I have ever eaten at any chic fil a not sure why maybe because I DON'T LIKE CHEESE and was forced to put it on my sandwich but either way I would have paid for the tomato maybe you all should have a button for that or educate the calera store employees of it's location (if you have a button)so they do not force a customer to order something they do nit want! My son said his good tasted fine. Again I am just suggesting working on the calera store employees not so much any other stores in that area because I have not any problens such as these at any other store locations in that area so mybquestion is- is it your employees or is it your management either way we are in this area and sometimes I have family in that area 5 days a week and they enjoy your food but if your store keeps going down you will not only loose our business but a lot of other peoples business so I hope you can get a grip on it and get it under control I promise I will give yall another chance or two but not sure how many of your customers will if they encounter the same issues because whdn I was there on 1-31-19 . I did notice your business seemed a lot slower than normal for a lunch hour it was noon and there was just anfew cars in drive thru and like maybe 6 people in lobby and usually the parking lot is full where we hope to find a parking spot and drive thru is wrap around the building with very little wait of course so I hope that was just a fluke day if not maybe you can improve these areas and pick...
Read moreThis location just reopened after a major renovation. It was worth the wait. New everything!! They expanded the parking lot to accommodate more dine-in customers. The new drive-thru design is less confusing, more streamlined, no more worrying about pedestrian traffic as they have new access points. I didn't think it was possible for them to provide faster service but they found a way. The drive-thru window is now a sliding door making it easier for them to hand you your order without any accidental spills. As always the service is excellent and I I'm happy they chose a design to benefit employees, taking into account the overall health considerations such as standing in one place for hours and eliminating the awkward window set up. The inside has been remodeled we well. Everything is new, clean and well placed.
They finally removed the petri dish that is the indoor playground. I have kids and I get all the reasons for a playground. Do you really want to take a chance on your kids playing in the ball pit in which someone just threw up or pooped? Say no to fast food indoor playgrounds.
They have dedicated parking spots for food delivery drivers such as doordash, Uber eats etc.

I placed my order for TWO COBB Salads I also ordered a 4 ct nugget My condiments was 5 AVO ranch and % Apple Cider Vinegars dressing I also offered to pay additional cost for the dressing and the young lady that took my order reassured that their is no limits and no cost for extra dressing so as di received my order I didn't have all my salad dressing I still offered to pay the cashier and helpers outside the window asked if I will pull down. The manager still didn't address me until I pull to the front door. The Manager Brad Johnson was so rude to me I have never experience such rudeness in my life! Brad Johnson told me that I have been inconsistent and that " CHICK FIL DOSENT SALE SALAD DRESSING AND CHICK FIL A IS NOT A GROCERY STORE" I was Flabbergasted in complete shock. I immediately contacted cooperate and found out that this MR. Brad Johnson is the owner of the store to be be owner of a store a major cooperation to indulge in disclination is not a good way to represent the brand of Chick Fil A there needs to be something done about this behavior from Mr. Brad Johnson.
