Captain D's — Restaurant in Calera

I’m very upset with my order from Uber Eats. I tried to report to them that my drink was missing from my order. I even called through their system to talk to the driver about my drink but he didn’t pickup. Also, my bag from Captain Ds full of smoke.

Cigarette smoke was all inside my bag where my food was. Every time I went into my bag to get my food out I can smell the cigarette smoke. I’m highly upset. I took pictures and explain the situation on Uber Eats help App but it wouldn’t accept it. It only gave me 1 choice order something else.

However, I did call and talk to the Manager Kelly at Cpt D’s but like she said there’s nothing she can do, because it’s all on the driver Marcus who forgot to bring my drink and let smoking be going on in his vehicle. Customer service for Uber Eats - 2 stars because they did give a $5.00 wallet to use on my next purchase. I give Marcus the Driver 2 ⭐️. (Shouldn’t be smoking and delivering food). But, I still gave him a $7.00 seed. (Tip)

Overall my Deluxe Seafood Platter gets 3.5 stars because the stuff crab needs more seasoning it was too bland. Plus, I had no tater sauce even though I requested it on both my orders. I order the Shrimp Kids meal with Diet Pepsi but it was missing. I had the Superme Sampler as you can see the chicken are now strips not long fillet like they use to be. Just to let you know that the Bake Potato and Corn on the Cob you must pay extra to get it. ($.69) cents more. I give everything else...

I was extremely disappointed with the experience at this restaurant. After waiting in a slow line, I expected hot food. The only thing that was hot was 2 tiny broken up pieces of flounder that barely weighed as much as 3pcs of the dried out shrimp. My fries were tough and the hush puppies were hard. The employee at the widow was very polite and apologized for the insultingly small fish. He agreed that it looks larger in the photos. I feel as if I wasted my hard earned $6.53. The poor quality if food is why I do not dine at Captain Ds hardly ever. This was by far the worse experience, with the exception of the kind gentleman. I have no issues waiting, but all the food should be fresh. I wouldn't send anything out the widow that I wouldn't eat myself. I sent it back & just got the small battered fish. I only asked for some fresh fries without noticing the other item were hard too. How can you have a line & still...

Has rude customer service. The guy that took my order had an issue with telling me what side was on the menu, I looked before and then I asked him what sides did the have. And his reply was it’s funny that I can point right behind me, after he said that he continued with the sides the store offered. This restaurant is off of he highway a lot of people come from out of town like myself, it was my first time having captain D’s ever so I wasn’t familiar with the menu. Seems like the guy didn’t want to be at work. The food was ok, I’d definitely eat there again, next time I’d prefer to use the drive through. Also when I asked him what sides they had he ignored me 2 times asking fried or grilled.. I wanted to know what sides they had so I could choose by the sides if that make sense.
